A: Nestea, July
Tester is not that good like he was and he has to step up quite a deal to get through these power-zergs!
B: o.O
I think this is one really even group! There is none that is outstanding and none that should be a walkover! This is unpredictable!
C: TOP, Fruitdealer
Fruitdealer I believe in you!!! Well, TOP should do it for sure, but aside from him I don't see a clear favorite!
D: Alicia, LosiriA
Group of Death anyone? Ok, CoCa maybe not... but the other three... So I don't like MKP that much, so he will be kicked out here!
E: MVP, sC
Actually zenio is probably the "weakest" of these four, but he has only to prepare for Terrans! Maybe this could actually help him! But if he can prepare for MVP and sC...
F: NaDa, SuperNova
oGs will go through! NaDa is quite obvious and SuperNova was called one of the best... he doesn't show it that much so we have to see...HongUn maybe has the same "advantage" as Zenio in group E!
G: HuK, Polt
HuK should really be able to do this! I see him on the same level as alive and killer! Polt is normally on another level, but this should work out! Foreigners fighting!
H: MC, Bomber
Kind of obvious. Even if you can't count out a player that was a GSL finalist... this group will deliver crazy great games (I hope!)

A. Nestea, Tester
July's vP weakness has been shown time and time again, most recently at DH against Huk. Nestea is a no brainer.
B. anypro, Clide
Definitely the least inspiring group in my opinion. Anypro and Clide are the most solid, so I picked them.
C. TOP, Genius
Top is solid player who is so solid he borders on exemplary. FD is a drunk who hasn't accomplished anything for months. Genius and Virus are both competent, so I took the bigger name player here.
D. MKP, Losira
Alicia's worst matchup is vZ, and he's on the other side of the bracket from his best matchup. Losira's worst matchup is vT, but he could clean up either Alicia or Coca easily.
E. MVP, sC
Took the two best at vT in this Terran dominated group.
F. Nada, Keen
Nada is a no brainer. Supernova is great against P and should be able to beat HongUn, but his vT leaves something to be desired and so I see him going down against Keen.
G. Polt, Killer
Polt is a no brainer in this Protoss dominated group. Neither SangHo or Huk have good vP, so I just went with the coinflip here.
H. Bomber, MC
Duh.

On picking the 2nd player for each group
I got the impression that the top 8 really understand the way the Code S group/bracket system works. The 1st and 2nd place finishers from each group go to opposite brackets in the Ro16, resulting in zero possibility of a rematch until the finals for players from the same initial group.
Obviously everyone in the prior top 8 plans on being either 1st or 2nd for their group. So then they take the initiative and pick another strong player to pair with and take #1 & #2. This ensures that they will not face that player in the Ro16, Ro8, or Semi-finals.
On picking the 3rd player for each group
The crucial part to all of this... is actually which 3rd person is picked for the group, especially for A and H. Above all else you never want to pick a heavy hitter for 3rd. Why? Because then the 3rd can pick another heavy hitter for the 4th. This is amplified for A because the 3rd immediately gets to pick the 4th out of all 8 remaining. Same goes for H but for the reverse reason, the only person remaining is usually a person no one wants to face.
This time Group A lucked out because of the forfeit slot. Group H however, turned into the worst case scenario. Kyrix picked MC as the 3rd, and Bomber was left for the 4th. I bet InCa will be regretting that decision over the next week.

Huk can do this,he's better than Killer and he can beat Alive. Especially if he performs the way he did today.

It will be no real upset. Bomber's best match-up is TvP, Inca's is PvP.
