Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining

Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it.

Official Statement:

There was an error in the drawing of the matchups for RO16. The Head Admin Hellspawn takes full responsibility for this and have corrected the bracket grid.

All matchups will stay the same as presented by Day[9] and Apollo but the order and placement in the grid will be different due to players from the same group can't face each other in the playoffs until Grand Final and 3rd place decider.

Here is the correct grid:

Starting 20:00

Socke vs Ret
HuK vs PredY

July vs MaNa
SaSe vs Sen

Starting 22:00

MC vs IdrA
Bomber vs HasuObs

White-Ra vs MooN
NaNiwa vs Brat_OK

DreamHack is very sorry for this misstake and hope that you will enjoy the games.

Hard to decide between the Huk and July games. The ragequit guys are solid casters though, so I'm leaning toward Huk.

Okay, that suggests that the BinaryBeast bracket is correct.

Which makes more sense... but, still, someone needs to get the "official" brackets done better.

hmm, Naniwa - Brat_OK or MC -Idra? Idra's gonna get rolled but Day9 and Apollo are awesome and I strongly dislike the Ragequit casters. Still a tough one.

Sigh, I hate bad wobble-wobble electronic shit;
I DO NOT HATE DUBSTEP - just for the record! I actually like stuff like benga, skream (the slightly older kind of dubstep) but this modern high-pitched-voice-followed-by-"dirtyer than your sister"-drop-BWRAAM BWRAAM shit is waay overplayed

I'm loving the electro/house/trance songs tho ^^ keep it up

My prediction:

Round of 16:
Socke vs. Ret
HuK vs. PredY
July vs. MaNa
SaSe vs. Sen
MC vs. IdrA
Bomber vs. HasuObs
White-Ra vs. Moon
NaNiwa vs. BRAT_OK

Round of 8:
Socke vs. HuK
July vs. SaSe
MC vs. Bomber
White-Ra vs. NaNiwa

Round of 4:
Socke vs. July
MC vs. NaNiwa

Finals:
MC vs. July

Not sure about Socke vs Ret though. If Ret wins I see him losing to Huk and then Huk vs MC in finals. Sadly.

The fact that they keep playing tomorrow, perhaps they should just play 2 games at once and play longer the last day ? 4 streams is nice for group play, but for big matches the matchs are more hyped and I know I'll be sad to semi follow (quarter follow in fact) all the matches at once.

Nice,so if a foreigner is able to eliminate Moon,we'll propably have a foreigner vs Korean final. I soooo want to see that.

MC is in the upper bracket? So it should be MC vs Bomber finals or what?

No, the only Korean in the upper bracket is Moon. Bomber, July, MC all in the lower bracket:

DHS Playoff Brackets

That's really lame. Guess they didn't want top4 to be Koreans like in every other Tournament.

Yeah, it is lame. It's because they did random draws instead of seeding. Foreigners have a good chance to make it to the final because of it though, so it's not that bad I guess. It's just unlucky for the players that deserve a bigger stage when they face off. The real finals might be in the RO8, which is kind of absurd... Maybe they will have seeds like in MLG

Well considering the players with the highest win ratio is all none koreans you argument preatty dumb

No need to get aggressive with my statement. A pre-tournament seed was what I was referring to, similar to MLG.
