Difference is Ret started a lot earlier, players are rapidly improving so Grubby requires a lot more catch-up than Ret.

I'm getting kinda sick of this line every time someone is defending Grubby. He have been playing Starcraft 2 for a long time before the did the "official" switch and that wasn't yesterday exactly. How long are you guys gonna do the whole "he just switched guys give him time!!"?

Yeah, and something's holding Grubby back. Honestly, I don't see why players like SaSe and Naniwa can do so well and Grubby can't, unless he's not practicing nearly as much as they are. They were all WC 3 players, and Grubby was the best among them. While that doesn't mean he'll be the best among them in SC 2, it does mean that he should be able to put up better performances than he's currently doing. I don't know, maybe it's his age?

Technically dropping down more macro hatches would be the equivalent of toss/terran dropping down more production.
And nothing is stopping them from doing it to get extra larva (if it were to be limited).
