For this reason alone they should seed players not only on ranking but based on their Race as well. At least try to minimize the amount of mirror match-ups in the first round. No Min vs July, No Nestea vs Cezeanne and certainly no MC vs Alicia.
edit: Okay that was pretty much it apart from San vs Huk(?), but those are still 4 matches containing players all capable of taking out the other terrans.

Korea always had a bigger amount of terrans pro players at the top, i'm not surprised by this, when the players here were from the GSL Points, which goes way back to the earlier GSL's where it was much more terran populated and it showed in this supertournament, the Last's code S hasn't been anywhere from Terran domination as this tournament.
I'm terran but i would love much more diversity than just TvT.

Bit worried for Nestea vs Top. Top seems to be just like Sc, another great terran that doesn't get much hype but performs consistently. I don't need to get another heart attack over a Game 5 so I hope Nestea just crushes him off the bat.

TOP plays much more passive than sC, so I don't think any terran could out-macro Nestea

Bah, totally disappointed at how Ganzi played today - his macro was subpar, and he made some questionable decisions. If he had played like this against MVP, there was no way he would have won.

So ... supposing Alicia beats Leenock and Nada beats Line (which are not big assumptions quite frankly) we have ... Ro8 with 6 Terran, 1 Protoss, 1 Zerg.
And even that requires Nestea to beat TOP.

Well... the top 16 is 9 terrran 6 zergs and 1 protoss. You're bound to have a bunch of TvTs at this point, especially if a bunch of zergs lose in one day.
I understand you are saying to start off with less mirrors as well... but I don't think that would be a good idea. I think the players should be rewarded by being placed better based on their ranking, not placed against a different player than they normally would play against simply because of race.

Really nice games , didn't get to see mkp live sadly but the rest were ok. The casting was good , congratz Wolf and i assure you even if you had MC+Nestea+MKP as casters and they talked fluent english you would still find people who would say ... meh they talk about stuff that even a platinium player would know and even they would make mistakes. You must realize that 1% of the total players of sc2 understand the game at a decent level. GJ again Wolf , we need good casters  .
