Idra's play wasn't that beautiful. The match was amazing because it was back and forth, but it was only back and forth because of small mistakes each player made and the players involved. He didn't do anything crazy, he didn't do anything spectacular.

And how do you not call that amazing? I mean did you see that? He upgrades his lings, drone pumped SO much and got so far ahead in economy, and then he just attacked like the monster he is. Oh my god is he good.

And then to put icing on the cake he got a spire, getting ready for easy a spectacular muta switch or some corrupters to deal with the collusus.

Yeah I don't get whats so beautiful about Zerg play at the moment. It's just get quick 3 base, spam drones as much as humanly possible. Rally units into protoss and win. This is all enabled by the Protoss who just sits there, expands late, and doesn't apply pressure. No shit Zergs are raping Protoss, they're getting ridiculous economic advantages every game.

But how do you pressure a zerg without going allin?Stargate is not so useful and just enables a zerg to drone up even more,DTs are laughable when expanding and gateway pressure is easy scoutable and allin most of the times.
I think the dominance in the economic advantage from zerg is coming from them having no fear from 1 base protoss anymore.
I mean seriously when did you see a 1 base protos kill or even pressure a zerg since warpagate nerf?

It's not only the warpgate nerf, it's just that 1base toss in pvz is stupidly preditcable. No expo by 6 minutes? Right, time to make units. You only kill a zerg that doesn't scout with 1base stuff, and that only happens in platinum or so.

Yep exact same thoughts.All of the zerg started dominating protoss since that warpgate nerf and i don't think its coincidence or "protoss just needs to adjust to the timings".Zerg just dosn't have any respect from a 1/2 basing protoss.
