We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum. Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service. Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST

How are you so sure? by the time thorzain would play MC... he would be so mentally tired. lol come on people,im sure they are used to playing more than 10 games a day.. and to get to mc he needs 2 more games vs machine thats it not in front of hundreds of fans with thousands of dollars on the line did you even see those tvts? they would drain anyone relax...he's going to be fine. He had no problems in his last match yesterday against Idra which was surely a much more draining day than today could be.

All the terrans/toss are really contenders for the title, feel some of the zergs have maybe been a bit lucky, only really feel 4 are contenders to take it all(july, losira, idra and ret). I didnt mention balance I mentioned how protoss players dont have many games to look forward to outside of pure entertainment value. Don't get me wrong I like the entertainment but at the same time I have limited ladder/practice time so if im missing it I would prefer to be missing it to see some inventive protoss play and learn something new for my PvZ which has been horrible lately due to the change in the way Zergs are playing. I have been trying a chinese blink stalker style play but I just cant get the timings and transitions right with it >.< XiaoT needs to release more replays so we can see how this blink stalker style develops

Hate to use the word, but.. THIS! Even if you practiced 100 games per day, playing 100 games in a tournament is so much more draining mentally because you actually have to focus all the time and try and outthink your opponent. When you're practicing you're trying to outthink yourself and the game so that you get better. Practicing at home is nothing like playing in a tournament, and if you're not used to playing in a LAN you'll suffer from mental fatigue after only a series or two.

For all the weirdness of the format and difficulty of trying to explain it to people, it is really an awesome idea. You get three solid days of top pros matching up against top pros. Agreed. Without even explicitly being a global league, they've created the most global tournament that Starcraft 2 has ever seen. Sick competition + free (with few lag complaints) HQ streaming, and the world's best english casters (tastosis, day9).....haters will hate, but it hasn't gotten any better than this in sc2 (thus far).
