Assuming everyone on that list goes to MLG Anaheim the groups will look like this!

Pool A will consist of the Players seeded 1, 8, 9, 16, and 17 Naniwa, incontrol, MC, Moon, Drewbie

Pool B will consist of the Players seeded 2, 7, 10, 15, and 18 Idra, Losira, Ret, Moonan, Machine

Pool C will consist of the Players seeded 3, 6, 11, 14, and 19 MMA, Select, TLO, Socke, Sheth

Pool D will consist of the Players seeded 4, 5, 12, 13, and 20 Slush, Kiwikaki, Haypro, Sjow, Huk

And yes this means that Tyler will have to go through the open bracket, IF everyone on that list attends MLG Anaheim!

I think that at least 2 Koreans in this Top won't come again. Because all of them will have to pay for their travel costs now. A couple of them might do it, but I don't think all of them will.

You are safe I think Drewbie.

Should only be 4 players in each group + 4 invited koreans + 4 from open bracket.

Depends on what measure you use, FXO (and sixjax) have already surpassed traditional powerhouses like Mouz, Fnatic, and coL. They won't win the GSTL, but I think most people underestimate the strength of the FXO squad in general. I believe they should be middle-of-the-pack for GSTL4, with only their weak Protoss line-up holding them back.

And how did you reach that conclusion?
By FXO having the biggest column?
To be honest that graph is seriously flawed.
Look at FXO and vT.. Biggest columns but worst results.
If we want to have a ranking we either go with MLG points or assign some number to the sections.
Eg: 1- 8 32pts
9 - 24 16 pts
25 - 44 8 pts
Eliminated 0 pts
and then divide it by the numer of members participating:
We would get sth like (not counting koreans and independant)
1. Liquid 18pts
2 Dignitas 16 pts
3. Root 13 pts
4. Mouz 12pts
5. EG 10 pts
6.Fanatic 8 pts
7. FXO 6 pts
8. sixjax 5.33 pts
9. col 4.8 pts
10. ONE 2.66 pts
11. vT - 2pts
12. vVv - 1.66 pts

And of coarse.. Team Korea 28.8 pts...

Interesting, so Liquid, EG and Root seemed to do the best overall.
Can the seeds for Anaheim be calculated based on the results of the past two events or are there other factors?

MMA will more than likely be there.

MC might depending on how the Code S schedule works for him.

Plus four other Koreans sent by MLG with one probably being Bomber.

If for Anaheim Gom decides to send the same players, I presume they go as Korean invitees, not as top 16 seeded players? And if Gom doesn't decide to send them, but their team has money, I presume they can go as their seeded spot?

The bonus is the max amount of points a player can get if they win all their consolation matches.

Ok
Shouldn't those matches have been played already?

oh yea i forgot they took the seed from the previous MLG dont they. So incontrols 20 something rank this time, combnied with rank 4 last time means he'll still be seeded highly.

all 4 of those groups look crazy, couldnt even pick a group of death or an 'easy' group

that also means if whitera attends this one, he'll have the open bracket to go through. I hope HuK attends this one, loved watching him tear through raleigh last time

Yes, they have been played already. We just need the stats to be released, So we can calculate the new player rankings!

I'm really curious if Tyler gets pulled out of pool play.
