Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

Unusually good performance from him! Only just noticed this, he's been playing very solid.
If you take a look at the large picture it seems the fluctuation and permability of MLG is already showing. It is indeed sad to see some players not performing that well as I wished them to do, but on the other hand we have a lot of pools turning upside down.
I hope this trend continues with future MLGs

......favorite commercial? The one with the blond girl and the phone is pretty awesome as well. With the boob stabbing and the Tripple kill motherfuckers. Really? I found that one really low and shallow. She doesn't even have large breasts .__. LOL, you don't need a super hot and attractive girl with big boobs to make a good commercial... Well they always make the commercial better I don't mind the girl. It is so absurd. I love absurd commercials. Playing against herself and then stabbing herself in the boobs while saying it in the most monotome voice. Absurd. And funny. I agree, I think they were definitely trying to make the commercial funny instead of just having eye candy playing around with their phone.
Yes they were trying to make it funny. Or they wouldnt have hired a comedian to do it(the female)

CatZ showed up 14 minutes late and got DQ for that match

Yeah, Sweden seems to be doing some good for him.
Also, his 2-1 loss to Losira was pretty close, if he had taken that ...

Not 100% sure, someone correct me please. Still... 2 wins in two MLG's and you get seeded? Pathetic format. Doesn't iNcontroL have less than 45% win rate in every matchup and is seeded 4th?
He came in 4th place last MLG ...

Yea...theres only like 3 or 4 foreigners who even have a chance vs koreans at this point but people still dont think theres a gap? If u sent any top 25 korean to this event they would have similar results. That = skill gap. Moon's pretty crappy comparatively and everyone else here whos actually code S/A level is dominating. If thats not a skill gap what is?

Can we have more details about Fenix vs Slush?

Sigh, no one can enjoy games without arguing over who's better....

Moon: 3 - 2 MMA: 5 - 0 July: 4 - 0 (his loss was to a korean) MC: 4 - 1 Losira: 5 - 0
Koreans: 21 - 3
If you take into account that Moon isn't even good enough for Code A, and that MC said he was extremely jet lagged against grack, I think we can end the argument here. The gap IS huge. Korea FIGHTIN!! ^^; Well Moon is an average korean and he lost a bit. And the other 4 are without a doubt 4 of the very best players in Korea. If these guys were only playing 4 of the top top top foreigners e.g. IdrA, Thorzain, Nani and Whitera, I'm sure the results would be fairly balanced. The koreans are playing people who are not on their level and not the best the foreign scene have to offer. Ofcourse all of these code s calibre players are pwning random foreigners, but the best of the best are still fairly equal in my opinion. Uh, no. The foreigners you mentioned are the best of the best foreigners. The Koreans sent to MLG are 2nd tier (-MC) compared to the likes of MVP and especially Nestea. Nice try though... MMA, Losira and July are not second tier. top teir being MC Nestea and MVP then yes they are. So Korea has 3 top tier players?
Lol!! I was thinking the same thing! How are MMA/July/Losira not top tier?? Wasn't July recently in a GSL finals??

HOLY CRAP dude MMA got this in the bag! He can't beat Huk, what makes you think he's gonna take out MC? I can't see MMA winning this. Personally I feel it will either be 1) Losira 2) Idra 3) MC 4) July Naniwa as a dark horse, but I'd even put Naniwa over MMA at this point in time. (Zerg-filled tourney lol) You can see July winning it but not MMA, who just beat July 2-0?
This.
And do not think Huk is better than MMA because he beat him in sub-10minute matches in one series.

Anyone have any idea about who plays next? Is it over? Any information or just spam?

It deeply favours players who are top 16 or a Korean invite. This would be sort of ok if the top 16 players were close to being the top 16 players in the tournament, but every event there is a new group of players, with no MLG ranking points, who are better than some top 16 players, but have to fight through the open bracket.
I'd like to see the top 12 players seeded in, and then having 8 places from the open bracket and 4 Korean spots. As well as scrapping extended series (its worst when there's a final where one player is up 2-0 and has to win 2 games, while the other player has to win 4 without losing more than 1 game, and then win another best of 3 after that. That's almost the equivalent of having to win 3 games in a row.

Korea FIGHTIN!! ^^; Quit making excuses for Koreans. Freaking hate this. First its the server lags from cross country, then MLG decides to fly Koreans over for LAN, BUT NOOOOO That's not good enough for you. Now they have jet lag. Freaking deal with it. Top foreigners can easily take out Koreans, they aren't fucking Gods. Excuses? Koreans have destroyed foreigners so far. Yeah, you're including the wins of the tier 2 Foreigners, maybe if Gomtv sent over tier 2 koreans, we can start talking about wins and shit. But as far as I'm concerned the Top top foreigners are doing REALLY REALLY well against the Top foreigners, stop trying to feign Korean dominance when there isn't any. 21-3 is quite dominant ignoring the lower tier koreans in MLG that went 0-5 I see.
What Select? Nobody lumps him in with the Koreans.
