Whereas a reaver does shitloads of aoe damage to everything. Blue flames aren't even used that often, and it seems like everyone wants to nerf everything terran has into obscurity until the only composition left that is viable is marine tank. Which would make things really boring if every game was the same. Hellions are fine, and add variety to the game, you don't even see them that often, and if they were truly imba you would see them almost every game.

I'm actually pretty sure it is the top 2 from each, and then there is another group play with the remaining top players of the divisons who fight for 5 more spots, and then there is the 1 person from the open bracket. As for the PainUser thing... if he simply gave up then I lost a lot of respect for him. As for people blaming the NASL for picking him... are you kidding me? Do you guys even think? And finally for the issues with the top 10 which I didn't see first hand but simply read about... they really need to have someone go rewatch everything... seriously. At the very least you can fast forward through it or check key areas like the beginning of games. I don't know who over there keeps screwing up, but it really needs to be fixed when it is the cause of the majority of the complaints. Sometimes someone just has to be replaced if they are holding everyone back (or you can just pay someone a very small amount to simply watch it the day before).

If they are always hitting two units at a time then they roughly have the same DPS as a stalker

He's bad enough that he's gone 0-2 against everyone, and everyone left will get a 2-0 against him due to forfeit, no? It's a wash. The poor guy wants to do something else with his time, and who can blame him? This clearly isn't working out.

Do you guys even think? Indeed, people who are surprised that Painuser got invited to the NASL need to consider that the NASL wanted a certain quota of North Americans inside the league, which is why he was picked over players with much better results recently in europe and most likely players who are more skilled in Korea (yes, he has two incredibly good placings at MLG and IEM, but those are way in the past and ever since that there was silence).

This is a professional competition for prize money, and professional behaviour (which includes showing up and playing out every game) should be expected. It's a courtesy to himself, his team, the league and the players who didn't get chosen because Painuser took up that slot. I don't get the hate on Painuser. Why does it matter one way or the other for anyone in the group, whether they've played him or not? He's bad enough that he's gone 0-2 against everyone, and everyone left will get a 2-0 against him due to forfeit, no? It's a wash. The poor guy wants to do something else with his time, and who can blame him? This clearly isn't working out. Here's hoping he'll return next week and clears this up. Otherwise I don't see a future for him in professional SC2. Which team would want to employ a player who doesn't show up to his matches? On May 30 2011 15:11 Sqq wrote: Fuck yeah IdrA. All you need is practice, the more you practice the better you do. PainUser has clearly stated he doesnt and that he is concentrating on his job for IGN. The poor guy wants to do something else with his time, and who can blame him? This clearly isn't working out.[/ Exactly, what would be the point in going through the entire process of scheduling/practicing/playing when you're too far behind for it to matter.
