Wow MC literally had Colossus streaming out. No idea how he does that.

This new PvP is madness. Someone able to defend an expansion? It's almost like a real game now.

How can people say it's lag issues for MC? I mean Ace doesn't seem to have any problems playing on NA. In fact the majority of the koreans are doing extremely well in NASL.

I think the bigger issue is MC is taking NASL too lightly. He probably doesn't prepare anything specific for the games or review anything about his opponents. I bet his cockiness is what is holding him back.

The problem with lag is it varies, sometimes its really bad and other time not as much, but there definitely at least 1 sec delay. Also koreans doing well does not equal no lag, it just means some koreans are doing well despite lag. The fact there is a big discrepency between koreans offline events and onlines one just proves this problem. Lag is unfortunate but ineviatable. MC shoudl have chosen a less micro intensive attack, but then again pvp is the most micro intensive of all the match ups.

He was hugely ahead due to the builds.

If game 2 proves anything, it's that MC should not rely on micro based timing attacks to win in the NASL. The latency has to be affecting his ability to micro.

The problem with MC is that a huge part of his ability to dominate that sets him apart from other Protosses is his insane forcefields which are probably the best out of any other Toss in the world. Playing from KR -> NA really hampers that ability.

Hasu should have attacked sooner, but I think MC still may have held. His battle micro was way better during the first engagement. He had both colossus laser HasuObs's zealots while HasuObs's colossus each had different targets. Additionally, MC had his immortal at the bottom of the ramp and FF'd around it and just let it tank verse HasuObs's stalkers while MC's stalkers were positioned further up helping focus down the colossus and zealots of HasuObs. wp by MC.

I'm not really sure what to take from that... Seems a bit strange that someone can expo and still do the same thing as someone going allin... Hasu must've fucked something up in the build order...

They need to fire whoever writes these marquees and hire a 9 year old to do it. It's wrong every other time!

Crazy hold, I've always wondered how does MC do it, he always seems to be a tiny step ahead in everything in PvP. He usually has 1 or 2 more probes at the beginning without explanation, and his production seems faster. I really don't understand how he does it.

It varies when the Korean loses, it was extremely laggy, when the Korean wins, the lag was fine.

MC's micro is horrible, the korean lag is really showing here. Makes me sad.

Stop with the excuses, he was outplayed.

That was a completely micro oriented situation. No outplaying happened.

He out microed him, thus he outplayed him. MC choose the strategy, he only has himself to blame, not lag.

It's pvp, every strategy requires micro.

All I'm hearing is excuse after excuse.

If you are trying to say hasuobs is a better player than mc, then you are just wrong.

As someone who used to play on a crappy computer and is now playing on a high end gaming computer, I can tell you that .5-1 second delay on everything you do is insane. The korean lag absolutely has an effect on every Korean player in this tournament. Go grab yourself a Korean account and try to play in NA or Europe, you'll realize how ridiculous it is.
Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where, when facing a SlayerS terran, completing a hatchery would cause a medivac and 8 marines to randomly spawn nearby and attack it.

This is very true. More anecdotal evidence from me (someone with a NA SC2 account in Thailand right now): One game, I tried playing against a friend of mine, and things felt pretty good. I thought I might actually be able to play some good SC2 with my NA friends. A few hours later, I tried another game, and the lag had gotten considerably worse, and things felt terribly sluggish.

Moral of the story: Shit varies. You can't discount lag just because it's not apparent in some games.

Wouldn't be so quick to get on him. A few other people complained about it in this thread also. And you better believe not all of the 20k people are active TL members.

Just to echo this. I am in the exact same situation. Season 1 pass, watching through TL. No ads, ever.

MC wins: OMG he's so amazing. Best player ever.

Anyone else wins: Lag is so gay. MC is so amazing and the best player ever, and obviously could not lose any one game by any stretch of the imagination. He wins every game he plays and those he doesn't are due to gay lag.

Even if you think MC's better (he probably is), it is possible that Hasu could win one game.
They're fools. You should eat them.
