The problem is that things happen so quickly during big battles that even one caster can barely describe it all in the time that the battle takes. No SC2 casting duo that I'm aware of will both describe the same battle. One person talks for a time, then gives up the mic to the other. It's what Day9 and Chill did in teh TSL3 and it's what Tastosis do. I did not say that two people should describe the same battle, and by pause I meant very small pause that the second caster might use to note that while the battle being described seems to end in draw in the meantime dts/drops/... killed all the workers. If the second caster has nothing to say the play-by-play one can continue with his WPM attack after pause as short as 1-2 seconds. Of course if both casters are at one place this becomes even easier and even such short pauses unnecessary. And in other caster duos there is more space for the other caster to note something as they do not have the WPM of TB. Also just to note, there is no need for a caster to describe the battle in total detail, viewers can see it. And for some people that do not get it : I am not saying TB's casting is bad, I mostly enjoy it quite a lot. I just think it has some small flaws, but I was more commenting on his argument that sports casting style is good style for casting sc2.

Just venting frustration. I feel good commentators are really important. Some, like Demuslim during Dreamhack, can enrich the experience greatly, while others can cheapen it. Incontrol + Gretorp is pretty harmless. Sure, Gretorp is awful but Incontrol is pleasant to listen to. Incontrol + Idra is actually good, I want to listen to what they say. Gretorp + this guy is pretty awful. I can't focus on the game. The only thing that would be worse would be to add a screamer like Day9 to completely ruin it.

I like to give credits for that to TB, with TB doing the nice play-by-play, Gretorp can really throw out his analysis and he doesn't have to talk around IdrA/Incontrol.

Why not cheer and praise on the forums when your favorite caster is on instead of bitching when one you dont like is casting?

That's the problem with forums; there's not many people who will talk about the things they like, there will be a shit-ton of whiners whining about things they don't like.

Thats pretty dumb since it will in no way help the progress of the scene. If people are unhappy with a certain commentator why should they not say so? This is not a charity, some of us are paying to see these games and want to atleast be able to voice our opinions about what we get for that money. E-sports is nothing without the spectators and their opinions therefor matters alot. Sure, comments like "I just hate TB" and nothing more is pretty useless but why should the public be forced to have a commentator if they do not like him, I can see no reason
