Some, like Demuslim during Dreamhack, can enrich the experience greatly, while others can cheapen it. Incontrol + Gretorp is pretty harmless. Sure, Gretorp is awful but Incontrol is pleasant to listen to. Incontrol + Idra is actually good, I want to listen to what they say. Gretorp + this guy is pretty awful. I can't focus on the game. The only thing that would be worse would be to add a screamer like Day9 to completely ruin it. Okay, that's cool and all, but can you keep the complaining out of the live report thread. If you're not going to watch, then just don't watch. The live report thread doesn't need senseless exclamations that you're not going to watch today. I'm sure there's a NASL feedback thread, make a comment there.

Why not cheer and praise on the forums when your favorite caster is on instead of bitching when one you dont like is casting? Why can't we do both? Or nothing. I don't see why I can do one but not the other. I certainly like to praise when I am impressed by somebody. I already mentioned how I enjoyed Demuslim, Incontrol, and Idra. But as soon as I say that I don't like something it's wrong to state my opinion? I don't see why.

It's not the NASL if it doesn't have some hideous audio issues somewhere during the broadcast! =p --- First game looked easy enough for Ensnare, didn't think he'd win this given how badly he's been playing of late.

If people are unhappy with a certain commentator why should they not say so? This is not a charity, some of us are paying to see these games and want to atleast be able to voice our opinions about what we get for that money. E-sports is nothing without the spectators and their opinions therefor matters alot. Sure, comments like "I just hate TB" and nothing more is pretty useless but why should the public be forced to have a commentator if they do not like him, I can see no reason When I say bitching i mean the venting by comments like the one you mention. I think both NASL and TB (and all the other casters) appreciate CONTRUCTIVE criticism. But then again, its a matter of taste. Some like the way TB casts and some prefer other casters. But just because a caster isnt in your taste, it isnt really relevant to the forums? But yeah, constructive criticism is something that can help this community, but is also rare on these forums.

his permenant voice is an average british joke voice, i hear far better joke accents every day in work (black country ftw). but his voice wouldn't be a problem except that his casting is very mediocre as well. he seems to be more interested in selling himself, instead of selling the game.

I actually do think that even though it is a matter of taste it is relevant to the communtiy, probably not in a LR thread so I will make this my final post about this but again, if the taste of the majority leans in a certain way that should really be taken into consideration when hiring commentators much as (I assume) the GSL did with Kelli. I myself has no problem with TBs voice etc but I just dont think his humoristic style and imo lack of SC2 knowledge makes him suitable for a big tournament like this. The commentators are there for our sake, its important to remember that, they are there to highten our entertainement and if they are not appreciated they should not commentate big tournaments, if you need alot of practice etc you should get that in the smaller ones.
