Have you ever seen a Korean broadcast of....anything? That makes Moletrap/Doa look tame.

I also didn't like the huge gamble by starting the second expansion so early. It paid off but it was too much of a coin flip.
As much as I think this guy is a nit-pickin' stickler, I think we all need to stop and highlight his correct usage of the word "epic".
Come on, internet, it is not a hard word to understand.

I would say the difference is yelling like an excited announced versus screeching like a wounded pig.

He might have been coin flipping it a little bit, but it's very common for reaper openings to be followed by expansions, so he was probably relying on that.

I fucking love the GSTL!! What an amazing series!

There is no denying that his build was well thought-out. He had the evolution chamber and started melee attack immediately, knew when to drop the fourth hatchery and was pumping out drones until the last possible moment. But still, it was too risky for my liking - and once he got this advantage he had absolutely no right to lose the upgrades war so badly.

There was no doubt he thought about that build correctly, and most likely in practice, under the same situations, he knew the third was at least greater than 50% safe, being placed at that time when facing a reaper opening. Therefore, I'd hardly blindly call it a coinflip when you don't exactly understand what went into his thought process, or how many iterations he played on that map in practice.
On the other hand, watching MMA shoot past him in upgrades when he had +2 before MMA had +1/+1 was indeed quite sad.

Wow I can't wait to buy a season and catch up on this epic finale!

Bought the ticket this time (my sleep schedule thanks me) and just finished watching them heres what I though.
Ro8- Props to Taeja but zenex was a joke, can't believe IM wasn't in. fou vs. TSL was alright series oGs vs. ST was an awesome series, clutch playing by MC Prime vs. MVP was a great series, nice win at the end by DRG.
Ro4- Slayers vs. fou was an awesome series, so many cool build orders and matches. Definitely watch this one. oGs vs. MVP was a good series, amazed again by DRG.
Finals-
As always GSTL finals never ceases to be awesome, really back and forth with amazing games. I feel like if Guinea pig had rolled P or T on crossfire he could of won and 2 shots at MMA would of been enough for MVP. The ace match was incredible, thought DRG was going to take it but MMA is so beastly now.
Felt like DRG could of been awarded the MVP award for the tourney, he was so good every series and took out some giants, nothing against MMA.
On a side note though, Moletrap I like your casting but you overused the term sniper and snipe so much this week that I was beginning to think you didn't even know what it meant. It was getting really annoying.
Overall GSTL being amazing as always.

Congrats to + Show Spoiler +the SlayerS team for doing it again! Boxer fighting!

MMA is my favorite player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<3<3<3
I'm so disappointed that he isn't in code S. I'm pretty sure he is better than most of the players there.

Sick finals. Really enjoyed the whole series/production/casting. Game 9 was indeed epic.

Let's not go overboard either.. it was a nice game -- MMA played well -- but DRG made too many mistakes for the game to be considered the best... even the Thorzain v Naniwa or Thorzain v MC series had a few games which better than this.

MMA taking down MVP's ace DRG - incredible! DRG is such a solid player and MMA taking him down is a huge scalp! SlayerS seem to have figured out the team league strategy and are the team to beat
So happy for Boxer! It's like BW all over again haha!

I like how Slayers_MMA shot out of the booth and leaped into Boxer's arms after winning game 9.

you guys are way overrating the last game.

but amazing series It isn't just the game in itself that made it so great. You have to consider the situation, the build up, the players, etc.
Are there games out there that are "better" in terms of better played and less mistakes, etc etc? Sure of course, but the atmosphere, whats on the line, the build up, the players, and being the last set of the Bo9, of two miracle teams, with two aces that are undefeated, one player being behind, making comebacks etc etc, just made it so awesome
People that already know the result, then going back and watching it for their first time won't feel how we felt when we watched it live.

super cool series, glad these team leagues are better than the regular seasons
kind of surprised no banshee to punish the 16 minute robo in set one, but i may just be splitting hairs
