I don't know why people think Grubby is as bad as Artosis...he's been very close to winning a few times, barely lost to TLO, and has oodles and oodles of tournament experience. Artosis was the popularity vote that doesn't deserve to be in the NASL.

Artosis hasn't won a map against a credible opponent since IEM nearly a year ago and can't make Grand Masters on the NA server, he's completely out of his depth in the NASL. Grubby has recent series wins over players like Morrow, TLO, Demuslim and Tarson and is high Grand Masters on the European server. They shouldn't be compared.

He seems to already be, considering that despite playing half the time he has 2 accomplishments and an above 50% record on TLPD. Meanwhile, iNcontroL sits at 40% and no entries.
Grubby has massively underperformed in NASL, but he is not a bad player as some people think. (iNcontroL is a good player too, but if you just take a small sample of stats out of context you will get led to an incorrect conclusion.)

Didn't hear the comment because of lag, but as mineral patches mine out you end up with more workers than are needed to mine the mineral patches, so you get less income compared to having all of your mineral patches up which allows you to take advantage of having more workers mining.

Well i can def feel for TLO in that last game. No being 100% prepared for DT can just be so aggravating. He did what he needed to with the all in, first one almost worked, just hope the next games can be fun to watch as well.

A "BITBYBIT" is pulling all scv´s in the early game when the players are still equal. What TLO did has absolutely nothing to do with that. He got so far behind that his only slight hope of winning was going all-in with scv´s.

I think it's Justin.tv's 480p setting that seems to have the most problems. Granted I'm having internet problems tonight, but the 360p just seems to always be a lot better, even though I've got plenty of bandwidth for 720p without issue.

I wish TLO would be a little bit careful with his vikings after the colossus dies. He's lost half a dozen just sitting there.

Charge upgrade for Kiwi is almost complete, should even out the negated colossi a bit.

Kiwi is up about 11 workers, has a very low to no colossus count, but a pretty large stalker gateway count, TLO has a bunch of marines, got his 3rd base up and made it a PF. and has a few vikings.

TLo and Kiwi are both taking very out of place expos in the bottom of the map. TLO has center control with about 10 vikings and Kiwi has his gateway army up and about 4 colossus up, but only has 1 sentry atm. they are now engaging

TLO loses all of his vikings for all but one of kiwis colossus, then kiwi pushed into TLOs third, TLO did not have enough to defend and Kiwi had just enough to take out TLO's army, and the supporting colossus arriving sealed the game, GG Kiwi takes the win

Hellz ya grubby artosis. Lets see something epic. It sucks because Geoff said on SOTG that there original cast of grubby artosis was lost due to technical difficulties so they had to recast from replays. He said the first cast was epic and the 2nd one just didn't have the same feel. We'll see.

tho I do feel he should've made the archons from DTs at the get go, just having 1 or 2 DTs in that mix would be pretty effective where as the HTs did nothing at all.

Artosis did chargelot/archon and grubby did a phoenix open then into blink stalkers.
They did a base trade but Grubby could barely kill any of Artosis' buildings. Artosis took out Grubby's whole base and grubby built a nexus hidden across the map and it took awhile for Artosis to find but he did and won. Artosis was ahead a lot of the game.

The sad thing is, Artosis' macro was terrible, looked like platinum level play macro wise. Didn't use chrono boost at all, wasn't making probes while stockpiling tons of money after fast expanding, and fell behind in econ -_-. If Grubby hadn't attacked up that choke stupidly, he would have won easily, Artosis just wasn't making anywhere near as much stuff as he should have been.

My head was spinning to say the least. First gate and the cyber were BOTH under ONE pylon which was RIGHT on the edge of his base. If grubby had just blind 4-gated it would be gg instantly. Don't get me wrong I am very happy for Artosis, but some SERIOUS improvements need to come in order for him to... Beat people who are not grubby.

You don't let yourself get to 100 energy on two nexuses because you're saving chrono boost for upgrades, while getting supply blocked and not making probes at all, and stockpiling money because you just aren't spending it.

He created a team because he realized his star power could go with just a personal sponsorship rather than being tied down with a team contract. Not because he's awesome or anything. But also probably because of potential.

Exactly. These guys are payed to play the game. They are supposed to be way better than me. Also I am expecting a certain level of play when I watch them. Neither Grubby or Artosis played at that level tonight.

Moon botched that pretty badly, you should make a spine crawler and you should target the eggs so that the lings that come out of them are immediately surrounded, he did neither. Plus separating those 4 lings and allowing them to get picked off, just not good.
btw sheth ran the drones out of the base because if you run them around on creep the lings will catch up and get hits off while you're waiting for your lings to hatch. Very fundamental in holding an attack like that.

Yeah I agree. Moon lost because of terrible micro (most likely due to lag). Sheth did not handle that very well, no good surronds, no microing dying units.

WoW, that was just straight up bad control by fenix.
1. when he saw the marines targeting his command center he could have scanned or stimmed into the tanks and denied the damage that drop did.
2. why at his third were the tanks sitting seiged on the ramp, Rainbow was able to walk right up and kill them out of sight of the tanks. Either seige them at the top of the ramp or by your command center, not right on the ramp.
Fenix gave that game away from sloppy control, which is sad to see because he had such a huge advantage.

These reminded me of MKP play against Jinro/MVP doing the counter drops in a losing position.

I wasn't impressed with Fenix's play beyond the early harass. If was paying attention to that first doom drop, he could have easily picked off the medivac with two tanks in it. Although I'm not sure why he pushed at all, he should have solidified his advantage.
Also: Gretorp >.<. Fenix didn't make a mistake taking a third base, he made a mistake pushing out after taking said third base.
Edit: Fenix CAN'T go 3-3. He already has four wins >.<

gretorps commentary seems more intolerable than usual, I really wish he didnt try make predictions on situations where he clearly doesnt understand the matchup.... and he HAS to change his vocabulary abit, these annoying catchphrase words which dont make sense, and childish babbling really ruin the games / cast for me...
I like Gretorp, he's grown on me, his excitement really shines through and works for getting me excited. His vocabulary isn't so much so limited as his word selection is slightly awkward, I don't see anything other than time improving this though.
I've been liking Gretorp and inControls casting more and more over time.

Pretty much agree. I use to really enjoy his stream, but listening to him cast other games is simply painful. I can't think of a single caster that is less smooth than him with words.

There's a difference beating people on ladder, and playing in a match series where two people have prepared strategies for the maps. Grubby has failed on the latter so far.
