If Idra produced one round of Drones and then started pumping Roaches, he would have had a Drone lead, an upgrade lead and he would have more than likely held the push with defenders advantage.

Idra was fairly screwed whatever he tried; he was close to all in with his attack. It was equal bases (drone transfer just hadn't happened yet), but he was a few drones ahead, and it didn't matter that he didn't have infestors right away after Idra's attack because they popped in time for Sen's attack. What cost him the game was overdroning after his attack and horrible concave with roaches, also he continued to spread creep with overlords after droning hard making Sen's attack much quicker.

Semantic argument maybe, but the term upset is usually only used when it's a legitimate underdog knocking out somebody, not an extremely close match where one person has a sliiiight edge.

Sen's build was probably better the third game - this is what Idra was afraid of when he talked about Sen having more experience on the KR server, as that fast infestor + fast third combination makes it really hard to hit a good roach timing and even though Idra hit as soon as he was confident to do so, he lost the fight.

Idra in the foreigner scene had only played 2 top tier Zergs and that was Morrow and Sen in the GCPL, where Idra did beat Sen. Those statistics are meaningless.

You guys gotta give the credit where it's due. Wanted to comment on this too. Like, Sen went for a fast 3rd and IdrA attacked it, but didn't do enough damage. Game concludes, and InControl goes on about IdrA's mindset and things of that for several minutes. Completely unnecessary. This was not IdrA dropping a game to a scrub while playing terribly. He lost to Sen in a 2-1 series.

Even then nestea doesnt play the best ZvZ players in the world regularly. No player has to play that brutal of a schedule unless you're in an unusually hard group of a tournament.

Zenio 3-2 and NASL counts match difference meaning that evry game actually matters since evry game you loose give you 1 minus points its a typical system for leagues for tiebrakers

The only win he took off of Sen in this series was with a 9pool spine crawler rush, fyi.
