Or would u rather him go a combination of everything and die to a combination of everything. This composition is incredibly hard to stop once out unless transitioning to mass muta, which mid to late game is incredibly hard with constant toss pressure

It is what MC and most European Protoss players are doing, late game you want Voidrays and no more than 4 Colossus mixed in too

Only thing missing were VRs. no the fact that the zerg goes for the brood lord means he has the flexability to put down extra coruptors and counter the VR's. its deceptive beacuse once you get to that point where the zerg gets brood lords things shift over to the zerg a bit more if the toss hasn't gotten enough of an advantage in the midgame.

Just divert some gates to stalker production/warp.

Would mass fungaling be good in that scenario, or is it best to just neural a bunch of optimal targets? Imagine if each of those immortals he neuraled killed 4 stalkers each ... think about how different that initial fight at the gold could have been. Would it have won the game, no but it might have made nani pull back a bit more, maybe get the broods up and not sniped instantly.

I'm no expert but Slush saw from the first push and with his Overseer that Naniwa wasn't making collossus and kept making immortals... But Slush built more roaches, and continued to play passively. There was a huge timing where Naniwa's army was stalker, immortal, sentry. and he didn't have templar nor blink yet.
