Have you guys considered having seedings for the coming qualifiers based on performance in previous IPLs and qualifiers? I mean some of the bracket sections were so stacked with pros while others were completely empty. Probably a good idea to spread them out atleast a little bit for the coming qualifiers.

Thank you everyone for participating in our first qualifier! I know we had a rocky start yesterday but thanks to your feedback and patience, we resolved those issues today and were able to move on. We do have our 8 qualifiers and I think everyone will be very pleased with who they are. We will be casting games on Thursday and Friday and then will reveal the full qualifiers and seeding after the broadcast on Friday. Sweet that we can D/L the replays from the bracket. Some heavy-hitter match-ups are already posted for the rounds leading up to the Ro32. So many "pros" got knocked out in R1 or R2. Thx for making these replays accessible! It would be cool if someone would make a replaypack.

Hey everyone, since we're only casting two days this week (Thursday and Friday) instead of our normal four days starting next week, we've decided to go ahead and release the information on who made it through round of 32 to the round of 16. As you all know, the round of 16 is incredibly important because the winner of that round is qualified for IPL Season Two! All further games past the round of 16 is simply for seeding spots.

IGN staff decided to be a little bit assholes to Virus aka VirusElfi , because when he asked if he could play zotac finals he was disqualified. Im not exactly sure because he is still shown in the brackets.

I highly doubt he was DQ'ed when he asked if he could play in another tournament... I don't know the situation but the IGN staff are very understanding (from my experience with IPL 1) Perhaps he got DQ'ed when he went on to play the zotac finals :/

I want to see Destiny's mass infestors game casted!
I think you guys should maybe pick out 1 or 2 joke / funny games out of ro32 for each of these qualifiers, should be good fun amongst the more serious games :D

Yeah I meant that as a suggestion for future casts

yo alex, have you thought about maybe making some kind of seeding for the qualifier? I understand that a "proper" seeding list is too hard to do, but maybe you could just "spread out" all the grandmaster players who sign up?
