These players are very high ranked on ladder but they don't get invited on many tournaments. Also some of them have a lot of fans from the W3 days. It's getting a bit boring to see the same players getting invited. | ||

Grubby, SaSe and SjoW have recieved invites but they are pending until their schedule is figured out for the future. I will try and keep the racial balance as even as possible as it worked out well in both previous KOTH events and improved the spectacle (in my opinion) when there were less mirror matches, so depending on which of those players pull out there are a few other options for replacements of that race. Many have been mentioned here, such as Happy, Nericho, Kas, DarkForce, XlorD, etc.  Remember that this is the first of what is a weekly series, and that a European version will run every month so even if the first month has only big-name players that generate interest everyone who deserves a place should get a run before the major offline events EDIT: Update! We tried to invite as many as possible to the Invitational (since this event is 13 players), but most were at CPHG or TG, but don't worry, we're well aware of these players. | ||
