Its time to enjoy the matches, keep the whining out of this thread. GL HF! Also, don't reply to the whining and ignore it: have faith in the mods, we read every post and act swiftly. You're making it worse. Enjoy! |

We actually use the word kindergarten in the UK too...language is fun isnt it.

This.
Then again we'd miss Mondi vs. Nani, an opponent actually worthy of him.

Liking the TSL a lot so far, thanks TL. And thanks again for your efforts to stop the flood of stupidity, seems like a hard job... The problem with that kind of mindset is that the strats "it takes to win" rapidly become boring... No epicness at all in there... it's like cutting the roots of esports :/

Uruguay vs Ghana on the WC comes to mind with this "gotta do anything to win" mentality. May be France vs. Ireland? Henry's handball?
Suarez's was much worse lol
edit: but i would have done it too!

Well, and kindergarten was invented by a German. English has lots of loan words. (A few other German loan words: schadefreude, ersatz, realpolitik.)
I style myself a true nerd's nerd.

So it's okay for MC or San to cannon rush in the GSL but it's not okay for CrunCher to cannon rush in the TSL? How is that fair?
|
I feel like Cruncher is someone who is simliar to Goody - both have horrible macro and fairly weak mechanics and play a very consistent style with cheese mixed in. That being said Goody is loved cause his style is unique, Cruncher not so much
I'm thinking if Mondi pulls out a win in game 4, it will be a 6gate finish for Cruncher.

He could have cancel his hatch after all the initial buildings was warped in. 3 pylon and 1 cannon is already 450 mineral. Think a bit before you start crying out loud about balance, protoss or the players. It was mondragons game to lose without resistance. Pulling all drone, letting hatch finishing is just, totally terrible reaction
Even if he cancels his hatch, then protoss cancels the blockade cannons, is down a few hundred minerals in the exchange, and even more importantly has zerg stuck on one base.
And one base zerg is just fail.

Mondragon has to win this. I can't stand 5 protosses in the round of 8 -.-'

This. I want Mondragon to win.. but if he can't defend a cannon rush then he deserves to lose. Throwing in cheese into a series is a smart idea if you think you can get away with it, and he could.

A bit cheesy - but that's called 'mixing it up in a best of X'
Poor Monte though And poor viewers, G1 and G2 were so good to watch.

If Cruncher wins this, I'm gonna love seeing Naniwa ripping him apart.
