We didn't forget, we were just under the wrong impression that the more skilled player should win.
That is a wrong impression. Effort beat Flash in the OSL once but Flash was clearly the more skilled player. Who "deserved" to win doesn't come into it. It's about who seizes the moment in the final game, and that was MC today. That's what SC all boils down to. Period.
Lol. How can you say proxy gates in the decisive match is boring? Proxy gates is one of the most exciting things to watch. You're literally on the edge of your seat wondering whether it will get scouted or whether it will work. It's a lot more entertaining to watch than macro games especially in PvP.
Why do you think people start screaming when they see a proxy gate go down but not when they see a nexus go down?
MC deserved to win, he was the best player at the tournament. Personally i love watching him play because he shows what is possible. Well done to White-ra also, you played a great tournament too.
I like it how people are complaining, that White-Ra fans are complaining, that the last game was SO exciting to watch, that i actually preferred to stare at my wall.
As long as PvP stays in this state it will only be exciting if i see foreigners playing a PvP, because form my perspective they are trying to do something different than one of the huge variety of all-ins, that are possible.
Stop saying MC is a genius for cheesing like that. It was simply White-Ra losing it, NOT MC WINNING IT.
Any protoss worth their salt will either check their base for proxy, or pylon scout if it is a 2p spawn map. White-Ra thought it was a 3p spawn map (as you can see his scouting probe went into the empty base), so apparently he thought it was blizzard shakuras. Therefore in his mind it was outside the realm of possibility he would get proxy-gated like that.
if whitera had 4 zealots up that ramp instead of 8 probes, he would have totally annihilated MC when he blinked up his ramp. sad to see.... same as in crevas if he had that 8 less probes and had 4 zealots he would have outnumbered MC in zealots (2 more) and slightly less stalker and still would have ramped mc cuz of the zealot advantage....
Really, people have a right to be upset if we are robbed of a great finish yeah? But MC won grats to him.
A lot of people have quoted this and ofc im not going to reply to everyone. The point is not that i think of the endings as the same, I am not saying that MC cheated.
I am saying the ending was lame, that is all. Please dont overthink things.
MC deserved it though, best player by far at the tournament.
You can't play Starcraft without cheese. It's a valid strategy, and haters gonna hate. Taking cheese out of Starcraft ruins everything, might as well go back to playing something else which already gives you stuff at the beginning and that's it.

Glad someone else noticed this. It's really tough to come back knowing that you're a game away from elimination.

It wasn't really a coinflip when he had clearly read how WhiteRa was playing from both these and earlier series. He saw time and again that WhiteRa was fairly greedy with economy and never got a fast zealot. I doubt WhiteRa could have held that attack even if he had scouted it once he skipped that first zealot.

I agree, I think either TL should step up the modsquad, or just create a seperate thread for events where people can dump their garbage off at.
Im laughing so hard at all the Europeans QQing right now. Honestly, i didnt care who won, both are amazing in my book. Quit bitching about cheese, he did what he had to do
