The top performers in the regular season get seeded for the grand finals, which has a $50,000 prize pool, so it's more about that than the money.

Remember Jinro v Idra in the GSL?
Sound-proofing is always an issue with big crowds..hopefully it will get worked out soon though.

Getting tired of linking that.
#MLGDALLAS has stopped all commentary in the main stage area, but left on game sounds. Some worry even that might reveal info to players.

It was said like 150 times already. Get over it.
It was said 150 times that they're not talking about the commentator but the crowd cheer when the caster screen highlighted the shrine.

It would be fair to say Inc owes a considerable chunk of that $1400 to TLO for facing him twice.

select kiwi rematch from dc. Was the best series of that tournament for me

Shoutout to ROOTCaTz!!!
Awesome games, despite the many technical difficulties and the 'low' quality streams, stellar event. I think the caliber of play in north america and europe is equal to korea these players showed some amazing and creative styles, was a great showing by the many big names of the scene.
Id also like to say that I appreciate Sundaces personal handling of the PR, shows the the whole organization is committed to the scene, the players, and the fans that paid for HQ streams.
GGs! Keep it up MLG!

"I could actually hear that he was making a Void Ray."
IdrA didn't specify if he heard the game sounds or the commentators talking.
Either way it doesn't matter, after that game they fixed it so when the game is going on there is no sound turned on where the players are playing.

A lot of the players are playing for seeds and points for the National championship run.

He's done that build every single game, im sure he's figured out the timing dt's can come out after that gas steal, might be why he gas steals This, as far as I can tell, is correct. Here's my take: In game 2 Incontrol decided to DT rush thinking that the gas steal was to deter DT rushes because that is a weakness in Kiwi's build. This wasn't completely true, the gas steal was to DELAY dts so they hit at a timing that Kiwi can easily defend.
Completely agree with this. Also, if you saw kiwi's build, he was on 3 gates and decided to go into robo tech at a very normal timing after his initial defense against the possible 4gate. It's not like kiwi threw down a twilight council first then out of nowhere threw down a robo in response to the crowd if he heard the cheering. Very standard from kiwi. Standard and solid. GG.

Oh my god is select about to play kiwi? I might die from the epicness

Yeah, really incontrol barely played any games. Didn't he get seeded because some people didn't show up initially?
All good, go SELECT!
