Naniwa is 24-1

HE IS NOT, it was said A lot here already. The last replay is naniwa winning vs drewbie.

Ok but isn't this worth doublechecking (I still feel there's a doubt in the air)?

One million people in this thread already said he's went undefeated despite what the bracket says AND it's been mentioned on stream AND if you download the replay of Naniwa vs Machine you can see him winning 2-0 and then another of Naniwa matches as the third game (I think it was vDrewbie os w/e)

NANIWA IS UNDEFEATED >_<

he lost 1 game to machine dunno about the open bracket winners

read. the. thread.

that was a misreport by MLG it's been stated 900,000 times. Naniwa is completely, and totally undefeated this MLG. 24-0.

You can't go ask someone to "go read the thread" when there is 600+ pages, he'll miss the finals before being done.

if he read just 1 of those 600 he'd find the answer. He was simply (like all the others) trying to be lame ass 'gotcha' type people that try and prove everyone wrong. If he put any time into researching the issue he and everyone else claiming he lost to machine would know the answer.

but whatever.

lets goooo get some games on stream!

so if select makes it back to the Championship Match does that mean that naniwa will have a 3:0 advantage already?

2-0, but yes... and honestly Select or Kiwikaki are probably the two most likely to make it to finals... and Nani up 2-0 on both and looks absolutely untouchable

I didn't think they used extended series in the final? I thought whoever advanced through the winner's bracket has to win one Bo3 and from the loser's bracket two Bo3s. I know it kind of works out like extended series but it's a bit different.

The extended series would apply I think, but only for the first Bo3 (if it is even a Bo3). THe only player left in the tournament that Naniwa has beaten is Select.

So it's Naniwa vs. the winner of which series in the finals?

http://s3.majorleaguegaming.com/2011-dallas-starcraft2-champ.html

TLO v iNcontroL
KiWiKaKi v Socke

The winners of these two games play each other, and then the winner of that game plays SeleCT in the Losers' Bracket final. Then the Losers' Bracket winner plays Naniwa in the grand final.

thank you so much, the i searched the mlg site for that, god its terrible to navigate

I'm pretty sure SeleCT plays in the Losers Bracket finals, and if he wins that he'll be in the grand finals for a re-match against Naniwa
