I feel like Huk is playing this like he played MVP, and when he played MVP we were all confused about wtf he was doing. It's one of those builds that's really successful on ladder and that takes advantage of his control but like we saw in the mvp series I don't think it's that good. It only worked because Moonan was clearly not used to playing against the style and didn't really seem to know how to respond to it.
.... it was standard 4 gate followed by backing off, building a robo bay and chronoing out a warp prism....
4 gate is probably THE most common build in the game. And dropping a robo after seeing a tech lab on a starport is the most common follow up if you don't break their wall...
There is absolutely nothing confusing, new or unusual about this build to anyone, including moonan.

If you can find the LR threads for the last 2 MLGs you'll see that the threads all look the same. It's always the same stream issues and they never get any better... yet we all keep expecting different results.

He would have been seeded, but wasn't going to show up because of the GSL. After he was eliminated in the GSL, he took a plane straight to Dallas and has to play through the open bracket because of this "on the fly" re-entrance.

As I understood he decided late to play MLG after early elimination from GSL WC so he had to start from Open Brackets.

He entered MLG last minute because he lost in the Gsl world champioships,so he was to late to enter
