[NASL] Players (final) - Page 53
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

Relevant info: Artosis is still not on any team, so either he will announce he's joined a team soon or NASL has broken with their team requirement. I think Skew said that he and Artosis applied under the team "media" just for NASL. I could be wrong though. It would be cool if Artosis were picked up by a Korean pro team or Team EG (He would then be on the same team as IdrA and Tasteless, the two players he seems the closest to.)

Still no Goody. ![]() btw, for those wanting to keep an overview of who's left to pick, I'm still updating the NASL list of applicants. Fun fact: Artosis is the first player to be invited without a TLPD ELO rating.

The NA in NASL could just as easily refer to its location instead of the nationalities of the players. No misnomer at all.

Are you seriously suggesting players outside of NA should be overlooked because the viewing hours are inconvenient in their home country? What utter nonsense is that? The North American part in the name is there because the tournament is organised by those in NA and the LAN finals will take place there. It has nothing to do with the nationality of participants.

Koreans can pick which one they want, or watch the vods.

Makes me stop and scratch my head a bit. I think it's simply because the NA scene isn't quite as competetive as the KR/EU scenes. Picks like Cruncher, Machine and Catz have already faced alot of criticism. Having, say, 75% of the player pool consist of NA players would really be scraping the bottom of the barrel. I hardly make a difference between the US/EU communities anyway, they interact and attend each others tournaments so often. The korea-foreigner gap is much bigger, and actually somewhat relevant.
