I think that's an issue. Great games are awesome, but like in sports and in e-sports, great casters enhance the games, bad casters (i dont think gretorp is bad) can ruin games. It's distracting.

These have been some great games the casting is not really an issue for me, lets go Haypro take this game and get Liquid the win!

Yes this is the best part, he was saying it correctly for the whole time. Then it gets pointed out that it was being pronounced wrong so he ventures to the wrong pronunciation. Great games, awkward casting.

Doesn't Artosis still say "EYE-dra"? Or is there something besides pronunciation that's wrong here?

Pronunciation mistakes ain't big problem (for me at least) as much as camera placement issues... also parts where camera show important moment but casters don't mention it at all, or they are super late with mentioning.
Anyway, I am super enjoying this, awesome games and I am sure casters will improve a lot in future.
In their defense, the big delays between them seeing large events and mentioning them seems to be a result of a desync between the stream and their audio rather than a lack of game awareness.

If you split it and say Hah-ee slowly you can tell that the pronunciation (if we look at a and y as individual letters) of "hay" sounds a lot like "hi." Still doesn't explain why he chooses to pronounce it that way, but the reading is a natural one if you've learned a certain way.

where the hell is haypro's army? o_O

just me or have they randomly started pronouncing haypro correctly? i feel like i've been trolled.

Gonna be GG from Haypro. Great timing attack from Axslav!

Ugh poor Haypro, you gotta play risky against protoss to have a chance, and hope the protoss doesn't punish you for it like with Ret.

AxLav is a BEAST!
I wuv U!

Epic games, not so epic casting. Not that the casting is bad but the quality of the games means that the casting is poor in comparison to the games themselves.

yay ace match!!! please please let it be tyler vs idra!
|
Again, my god- very very nice play from Axslav!!
Hmmm, I wonder who's going to be up for the Ace?!?!?!?!!

I've heard this more than once now and need to correct it...
it's "wreaking havoc", not "wrecking havoc"
