Someone in oGs should teach SuperNova how important having a spotter is. He lost so many marines and tanks needlessly to speedlings, banelings, and roaches because he never sieged up in time.

Anyways the girl who put the names on the board is HOT!

SuperNova is not a code S player. His control wasn't impressive at all. His marine splits were super late and always split them away from his tanks so the banelings just continued to follow and eventually hit. And his siege timing was absolutely terrible. His base was always open to muta harass and counter attacks.

Losira is definitely the better player. Never really panicked and had some great unit control.

Nah, he said a guy backstage (Jay?) was doing the translating.

Yeah Losira! I predicted him winning code A. Amazing player. Zergs should learn from that guy. Great serie too. For those who moronicaly claim that ogs supernovae isnt S-class material should really look at players like Hyperdub, Thebest, Ensare and a few others, and comapare them. Though, SlayerS_M and IMGanzi deserves to be there as well. I believe the Supernovae is better than Sc as well.

Anyone see some huge flaws in this group picking thing?

Out of Losira's group, Losira and Undeserving Player #1 will advance, while in Huk/Leenock's group, all three are miles better but one won't advance....

The Code A finalists have to pick 3rd and 4th place finishers of Code S R32 groups, so the likelihood of 2 worst players in Code S staying up is not very high.

Besides, Huk's group is really not an appropriate example. Huk pretty much got the easiest group possible out of the 6 players who didn't get to pick their groups.

Losira totally deserve this, its been a while since we see a Zerg shine.
I say Huk's group is easy but its 2 PVPs so anything can happen. I also say his weakness lies in this match up basing on his stream

It should be noted that, while the start of Code A can occasionally be lacking in quality, the finals of both seasons have been both competitive and thoroughly entertaining. I'd say it does a good job of filtering out the Code S caliber players!

I hope the Babyfaced Killer ((Z)Leenock) has his man pants on next week, I'd hate to see him stay Code A.

oGs seems to be the best team for starcraft 2 period. It's a shame FD and Tester left it before it started to own.

Fruitdealer was never in oGs, that was Rainbow. oGs got crushed in the GSTL tournament by IM the eventual winners. Arguably IM is the best team atm.

THey were in oGs

And I'm not just talking about GSTL I'm talking about how many players they have in the top ranks of the tournament.
I asked my friend how the ratio at a party was, he replied. "Let's just say for every guy there was two dudes."

To those saying Supernova isn't Code S material, how is his siege timing worse than, say, Nada's? I don't see Supernova winning code S, but he's definitely better than the bottom of code S.

GGs, Losira is the new zerg macro monster ! Banelings tsunami all along mech or no mech. I'd like to see how he would fare vs a most harass heavy Terran.

Kinda saddening though to read the douchebags comments on GOMtv.net. I've even read some openly racist stuff towards Kelly -___-;

I deeply thank the moderators for keeping teamliquid clean ! The day TL starts to get like GOMtv forums/comments is the day I will erase TL from my bookmarks ...

For game 2 I don't think people realize how expensive 2 port banshee is, especially given that Losira's counterattack denied the expansion. Supernova overestimated how ahead he was and a-moved his first push, and it all went downhill from there.

Really great games. It seems like after every day i have to come into the LR thread and tell everyone how much i loved the games but GSL shows me awesome games almost every day for the last week or so.
