So now let's see Squirtle, Moon, and Socke make it through group B! It would be really crazy to see 3 Protoss and 3 Zerg in the next round.

That being said, I'm really interested in seeing how SjoW does against Squirtle and Moon, considering all the rumors that he's heading to Korea...
You know what unit really has balance problems? Colossi. Why, they look like they could be blown over in a stiff wind!

Shit i've never even heard of ace before. Am i the only one, or are other people surprised that he 2-0'd everyone (aside from the fact that hes korean and whatnot) in his group?

Im sad that tarson didnt make it through, i saw his last match vs white-ra and those tanks were nasty. I dont care what people say about tanks being bad TvP, if you have 20 of them they kill stuff fast.

I wasn't surprised that he won all his matches. I was extremely surprised that not a single person was able to take a game off him. Considering the nature of Starcraft to win 10 straight is not the norm, especially against this type of competition in group play. I think Group 2 we'll have an undefeated Korean and the other will have one loss given to him by the other Korean. lol

so you Think Moon will have an easy trip?

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Squirtle finish first in the group, but I would be a little surprised if Moon finishes higher than third, and would not be surprised at all if Moon doesn't advance at all.

I will be flat out shocked if the Koreans finish undefeated with exception of the games played against each other.

The games mostly weren't that great, but I'm really impressed with the production and the casting. Looking forward to Day 2. : )

Tbh. i expect Moon to be last. In the GSL matches he was bad, his decision making was so questionable, i couldn't believe it. Always losing to some 2rax-standard-play. I think his only win in Code A last season came from the series against BitByBit, no?

He said he changed his mind and isn't planning on going. I think GOM even offered him a spot in the foreigner house, but without a proper team house, Code-A being what it is and the number of tournaments in the west he's not going.

Damn, if I would have stopped reading this one page earlier I would be able to watch the GSL-vods.
The second time in a row I get Code S-spoiled in an IEM-thread.

I should learn.

Check Ace performence in his team ST

He is top player down there. So what he is was in Code A.
Idra was always Code S and he was OWNED 2:0 realy easy.

Like others sad, games is too young to say someone is tip-top, check MVP he is down/up matches. He is noob?

It was a PvZ to be fair, and as of now there's only one Zerg in Code S who isn't being sent to the up/down matches.

I was only able to catch the last game in the Whitera/Tarson series, but skimming through the thread, there seem to have been quite a few problems with the various streams. I was pulling for Whitera among the foreigners, but the dude has already admitted to having a limited amount of practice time due to RL, so I'm not too surprised he wasn't able to advance.

Given the nature of SC2, I'm VERY surprised Ace was able to roflstomp his way to a perfect 10-0 record. WTF.

It's hard for me to believe that Koreans are already leaps and bounds better than everyone else so early on in SC2.

I think group A is evidence that a split between korea and foreigners is starting to form. IdrA only lost to Ace and ace has lost to nobody yet

I was expecting IdrA to go 5-0, but I didn't realize ACE was a Korean. He must have played great.
