I'm surprised VT was picked over one of those two especially considering NRG has been dominating lots of clans lately and vvv just won the SCL and I dunno what VT has done lately in terms of clan wars. they got a ginger (torch) why wouldn't u want vt? on a side note, no idea what they have done lately either, and personally some of their members i wouldn't say are top notch got a few on ladder and i won pretty convincingly (i don't consider myself amazing or anything either). note: i'm not saying they are bad by any means (b/c they aren't) i am simply stating personal experience.

They're a team, they have good players, but they aren't BY FAR THE STRONGEST. since other people have said it, i'll feel less guilty pointing it out now. I voted for LG, I have no affiliation towards LG, but if you look at the format of team leagues, it has never been about one individual star (sorry vT, spades is a good player but even he has only top 32'd at MLG's and done little in the ways of top 3'ing online tournaments). LG has one of the best overall lineup for competing in a team league, headed by obviously PainUser, but also with players like Agh, Zelniq, Shew, sykness, response, ranged, etc. the only teams that can hold a lick to that are NRG (with 3 extremely solid players). coL, although I love their players, really they're like another vT, except their Spades is Stalife, who does better in tournaments and is a bonafide star player. FXO is another team that along with NRG and LG should be, in my opinion, looked at more closely, since their team has some of the top players around like Sheth (who takes breaks on and off quite a bit, but has shown to be great at online events), as well as mOOnglade, the #1 SEA player, and Filthy, another top SEA player, and OptikZero. I believe they'll need at least a 5th player to compete in most formats of team leagues. After all that, you can look at vVv with players who haven't been as much on the radar lately like Murder, but also has players like Rigid, Time, and NGry. In order to compete in the team league the team needs to not necessarily hvae more sponsorships or players, but they need 4-5 extremely solid players. I honestly think only LG, NRG, and FXO can offer that. my 2 cents.

PS: Many of those tournaments are fairly empty without much representation from strong players, not to say that they are all like that, as obviously a tournament with allaboutyou, fenix, or another with ddoro taurent kiwikaki etc. are no small feat. but I do think both NRG and aAa posting every top 8 they've gotten won't help unless it shows the competition as well. That proves merit much moreso than placements at small 25 dollar tournaments. But after looking at brackets and list of achievements, NRG blows aAa out of the water sorry.

I think that their team, from top to bottom, is the most competetive, even if they do not have the best overall stars. To go back to a basketball reference, I would compare them to San Antonio. They rarely are flashy and they don't have all the cool top players, but they just keep winning. -my few cents.
