Maybe part of the "confusion" with the points column comes from usually associating points with the "3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss" distribution you see in regular sports leagues. The name is "taken" already for something different and that can be confusing. Since there is no need for a regular points column here (no draws) the term got reassigned which I dont think is a good idea.

I have tried to come up with something better though and been unable to get something short which would fit the column header. In football its the goal difference and it should be the game difference here, so calling it "diff." might be less confusing even though it is easier to talk about "points".

So I was bored and was curious about individual performance in these matches so I went through and tallied up all the matches.
Some standout performances(didn't include ace matches):

- Liquid'Ret and EGAxslav were both 6-1 on the season

- MouzHasuobs and EmpireKas were both undefeated at 5-0 on the season

- Many players had 4 wins including Liquid'TLO, Liquid'Haypro, DignitasNaniwa at 4-1 and DignitasSeleCT, DignitasKiLLeR, and FnaticSen at 4-2

-FnaticFenix was 2-0(4-0) in ace matches and as a team Fnatic was 3-0(6-0) in ace matches

Figured I'd share the info, looking forward to the playoffs!

Select was 8-2 .. Axslav was 7-2 (including ACE)... Select was 3-0 in ace matches, Fenix was 2-0 in ace matches.

Fenix had 4 wins too, in addition to Sen (from Fnatic) .

IdrA and Jinro surprisingly lackluster in GCPL!

Not really considering the 1 second lag from Korea, it's a massive handicap, although Ret and Haypro have really shone in this tourney despite the lag.

The finals of this tourney are going to be amazing, I definitely think the 4 best teams have made it through to the final 4. My prediction is a liquid-dignitas finals but having said that EG will be tough to beat if Idra is back in the states and Demuslim has recovered.

nah dont feel bad for VT. its like feeling bad for shannon brown in the NBA. you shouldnt. VT was honored as one of the top 8 teams outside of korea and they should feel proud for being included in what many other teams hoped to be part of.

Hi, just a quick note, please stream/record in lower quality or generally watch out for low fps, I'm just watching EG vs Liquid 3rd place match recording and the FPS is visibly low.

Idd, hopefully next season we see teams like mym, milleniun and fxo instead as those teams are the same calibre of eg,liquid dignitas etc
