how did he not have an economic advantage when he just secured his third? roach hydra > gateway units + 2 immortals[/QUOTE] he didnt have the larvas to make the drone to saturate 3rd +2 stalkers beat pure roaches (he went burrow and claw ect. aka not fast enough hydras) that 3rd would need to be up and saturate for a while for him to have an "eco" advantage vs a nexus first toss | ||

MC and the other tosses probably studied them to the teeth, learned the timing, and found out that early pressure/strong timing pushes can counter them | ||

In his GSL 2 interview and from my experience listening to Tastosis, NexGenius is disliked by fellow protoss (they used Tester as an example) because he's brash, loud, and very cocky. They dislike Genius for the same reason many of us (not me ^^) dislike Idra: their behavior in game (for Idra) and out of game (for Genius) | ||

after gsl 1 and gsl 2 i felt toss was pretty weak and wanted to race switch but seeing genius' confidence, it felt like like toss actually had a chance and was competitive | ||
