Remember that he is the guy who came closest to beating Cool last season, and now he fails to qualify, although it looks like he wasn't beaten by a total unknown. he beat cool but then decided to stop playing double expo and give cool a second chance lol.

Why GSL admins would allow two players who both qualified, and were successful in the previous tournament to play against each other in qualifiers for GSL 2 is beyond me. So freaking retarded, imo. Both these guys should be participating in the RO64.

Kidding if you can't tell. On a serious note. I'm all for having an open tournament, but I really think all 64 qualifiers last time should have been placed seperately in the 64 different brackets, after that just randomly filled. So if all 7 moons aligned, they could all qualify again. Also top being knocked out I'd argue might be the biggest upset so far. Like previously stated above, he should have beaten cool (and was the only one who came close.)

Ummm... as much as I love Cella for reaching out to the international community/streaming/etc. He got peaced in the Ro64 by MaruPrime who got peaced the following round. To say he was successful in the previous tournament is stretch...

Seeding on a single tournament or battle.net rank would have its serious drawbacks as well. We arent exactly sure how the code S and A are determined based on the 3 tournaments but you have to expect some disorder for these pre-season tournaments until the system actually gets going.

I understand that, but at least put season 1 players on opposite sides of the brackets. >.<
