Alright so Day 1 of the Canadian Cup is over and as we look toward Day 2 i want to post a round up of Day 1.

As everyone entered at 11:00am into VS-gaming seeing the faces of the local SC2 scene i was excited to see the match ups for the next few hours.

The players sat down and practiced for about an hour and we got the tournament started with 19 registered players. We packed them into groups of 10. 10v10 round robin the top 8 players move onto the Finals on November 28th. If you ask me that's awesome odds for a chance to grab some awesome prizes.

Casting of the Event and matches was live at http://l2sc.tv. Ic3d was doing great commentary of the event with BasementSC at his side. We got to cover some great matches but due to some technical difficulties no VOD's were made.

As the tournament went on the leader board started to emerge and we saw some familiar faces but also new players and thats what i was really excited for. Players like Saikou and Nakraka should poise but also determination. The expression's on their face as they reported their final wins, you could tell they were excited to move on.

We were joking with NeAns as he came to report his wins that he was reporting losses and we were confused because we thought he was good! Of course NeAns followed along with our jokes so it was less funny that it should have been

NeAns did come in first with 8 straight victories, but also did BadGuy with 8 victories aswell. So that makes them 2 undefeated players moving into the finals, as im sure we will see more.

Sick round-up, guys! I've got some good pics/clips, I just haven't bothered to do anything about them after the website mess-up, my hard drive crashing (Windows re-install) then getting sick D: Gonna get a tooooooon of it fixed and up tonight, though! Hyped for Day 2!
