If you were not chosen for this first tournament please don't feel bad. I will be mixing the players up from tournament to tournament, so if it was a borderline decision between you and someone who made it, you will be chosen for the next tournament. And there were a ton of borderline decisions.

If the players and backups who were chosen would please check in with me tomorrow between 6-7PM EST by PM on here or on SC2 at Cade.232, your spot will be confirmed. If you have a spot and have not checked in with me by 7PM EST, your spot will be given to the first backup of your race.
This is the fourth tournament I will have hosted, and from now on it is going to be a weekly occurrence. I will be hosting this tournament every Monday at 7PM EST, and I hope that everyone will enjoy it!
I would ask that everyone who wants to register for this, please at least thoroughly read the registration portion of this thread. My registration method is a bit unorthodox but I think it is a good way to have a successful tournament with only 16 players every week!

All round will be at least BO3, and the Finals will be BO5.
The Semi-finals will be played sequentially, with the other players still in the tournament allowed to observe. This is so that all the Semi-final games may be cast by me.
The Map Pool will be announced on Sunday with the registered participants, and will contain Blizzard maps from both the Ladder pool, and their normal map pool.
The starting map will be pre-determined, all subsequent maps will be losers choice from the given map pool.

Semi-Finals will not be played simultaneously. All players will be allowed to observe each semi-final. I will be casting all semi-final games.
The Map Pool is non-negotiable. There should be no complaining about the map pool, I will do my best to select quality maps while still providing variety beyond the normal ladder map pool. If you have issues with going beyond the standard ladder maps, please do not register for this tournament.
All games will be played on the night of 8/23/2010, please do not apply for registration if you have time constraints on that night, as the tournament may take several hours being all BO3's.
Players are asked not to be playing any games that they cannot leave at will in-between their tournament rounds. This is for times sake and for the convenience of all other players.

I will be picking 16 players and several backup players, and posting them on Sunday afternoon. Any players that sign up and assure me that they are available on that date and do not show up will not be picked for future tournaments.

*NOTE* I forgot to add that the top 2 finishers in each weeks tournament will be brought together for an 8 man tournament in the last week of each month with a larger prize pool (Still to be determined). If any given player finishes in the top 2 of a tournament 2 weeks out of a month then the player who lost to the winner of the tournament in the semi finals of that tournament will be invited. Sorry if that is a bit confusing, here is a brief example:
Semifinalists are players A, B, C, D. Semi-final brackets are players A vs B and C vs D. Player A has finished top 2 in the tournament previously. Player A and C win their semi final matches. Player A wins the tournament. In this case, player B would be invited.

=D Well race was one of many factors I used to determine the player pool, wanted to make sure there was a nice balance of races.
Also to make it clear, people who put more effort into their PM's and gave me details about themselves in given area, were more likely to be picked. Also players who forgot key information such as their identifier were unable to be picked

stream was lagging pretty bad cause of my connection so i took it down. don't know why my connection is so awful right now. After a very long tournament with a TON of epic games, Drewbie has claimed his victory!
Drewbie took out Spades 3-1 in the TvT finals w/ an insanely epic game to start the match and a very tired player (spades) still continuing to fight it out!
I'll be posting a replay pack later once I get all of iNkA's replays in, and I will mark particularly epic games (There were many!)
