The game actually has semi decent graphics if you were just playing it normally in a non-compeittive form. This. The game still looks very good for how old it is with high settings, the casters simply lower the texture quality and some other video settings for the sake of the stream to make the action easier to view.

Even then, the stream configs are clean enough so it isn't at all offense and looks like it's meant to look like that. I play with a config similar to streams (a bit darker maybe), but some players make it really murky :<

Funny thing is, the players started doing it to make the game easier pretty early on, so ID could have basically saved a bunch of money by just making it ugly to begin with :p On SC2, I am psyyyched for the semis, haven't had this much fun since the GOM invitational with Tasteless, whom despite Day[9]'s efforts I still sorely miss. Day[9] and Apollo are doing a really great job though, very enjoyable commentating, I just miss Tasteless' enthusiasm and his way of loudly freaking out when stuff happens.

Its the amount of manner many of these players show. There are some occurrences where the nerd rage does get the better of the fragile nerd mind, but it's not nearly as bad as for example the counter strike community where theres been dozens and dozens of IRL fights spawned from online rivalries. I would not like to see bad manner 'allowed' at all. for one, being BM just hurts the community, it really forces new players out of the game, it kills competition. Suggesting that BMing should be allowed for an arbitrary advantage is ridiculous. I really throughly enjoyed the manner shown by both the zerg players participating in this tournament, IdrA seemed to be on extraordinary behavior, and MaDfrog just had the perfect response to the show hosts loaded balance question.

I hope IdrA goes to the final, and then gets crusched by Morrow, just so that I can see all the rage and whine.

I don't play this game aswell but I'm a huge fan of it. As a spectator it is just so amazing to see the mindgames going on, the ability of the players to memorize timings on the mega health+red armor SPOT ON most of the time. And the predicition of some players is SO AWESOME. Combined with marvelous aiming from every player this is just so action packed. For realz! :O edit: WTF IS THIS I DON'T EVEN; they predict guys coming round the corner and instantly shoot them with the railgun... like REALLY???? they may even be able to predict how much health/armor the opponent has got and count that in as a factor of where the opponent may be...

It s not always easy to say what i really want to say cause just in the moment i miss the right words or i pronounce 1 word wrong and then its even worse. But tbh the games are great and i hopefully improve in the future. I will do my best. I hope you can understand what i wanna mention : ) Have Fun watching the semis tomorrow : ) //Dennis

We just try to get our daily laugh out of this when we call it 'trolling' so you should take it with some humour aswell I think. ![]() Props for the shoutout to tl.net though. Everyone here loves you for what you're doing; I'm very certain about this. ![]()

Anybody who actually is complaining about your interviews is clearly crazy. If I ever find myself in Germany, after watching these interviews, the first round is on me.

You don't try to sound overly smart by asking too specific of a question. The only really appropriate thing you can ask is how do you feel, and what went wrong/right. You are great and charismatic keep doing a good job. You are also very funny, intentionally or not. I like how direct you are with the questions.
