check-in instructions (2 steps):
1. http://pwnnoobs.com/2010/08/sc2-check-in/ (won't be available until 9:45 AM PST)
2. Send message to ops at IRC/skype (details below) - we might want to cast your game
-there are 400 players registered, rather than send 144 home, we will give 112 byes randomly and arbitrarily (basically if we've heard your name you'll get a bye, and please don't be offended we don't know you. make a name for yourself at our tournament so we do know you.)
Schedule:
-Check-in between 9:45 AM PST-10:30 AM PST on Skype/IRC.
-Welcome message at 10:45 AM on our livestream
-10:50 AM brackets are published for public and matches will begin
-Round of 512 to round of 16 will be August 7, 2010 starting at 11 AM PST
-Round of 8 to finals will be on the same day. each and EVERY game will be livestreamed
-We will livecast games from all rounds from a page on our website. also, if you have a webcam/mic, contact me, we will cast a few games as a "fanzone" cast.
First 256, or first 512

-1v1

-Single elimination until round of 8 (bo3) with preassigned maps
-Round of 4 (bo3) loser picks map
-1-4th place matches will be (bo5) loser picks map
-games will be played over two days

This tourney sucks for us PST players. Come on its summer, our sleep schedules are so fucked up people wake up at like 3. Although it was probably necessary considering the LS gamers is happening on the same day.

I got to the IRC channel, I don't think its letting me write anything on the channel though, it keeps saying "cannot send to channel" when I try to type anything and I don't see any messages being typed.
