Players will have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to organize a time to play with their first opponent, and report the results directly to me through PMs. The first map must be played on Lost Temple. Second (and third) rounds are up to the players to choose the map (map pool above). [Down to 8 on each coast.]
Round Two Details (Best of Three):
Brackets will be updated on Sunday night; Round Two players will have Monday and Tuesday to organize a play time with their second opponent. The first match must be played on Blistering Sands. Replays must be saved this round!! [Down to 4 on each coast.]
Round Three (Best of Five):
Random 1v1 Brackets will be generated for the Final Four on Tuesday night. Players will have Wednesday and Thursday to organize a time to play their final 1v1's (remember time zones!). The first map is undecided so far- but replays must be saved, because they will be casted!

I agree wholeheartedly. I completely missed the part where I would be fighting all my west coast homies when I signed up for this and now I am a sadpanda. I'll still be bringing my (fairly weak) A-game to the table though!

I was wanting the tournament to be more West vs. East, so the best 4 on each time is much better and 1. I think the finals will be 1v1's, and a tie-breaker will be a 2v2 if it comes down to it.

Its really about what you want :D A couple of us were just throwing in some suggestions for the tournament to be more East vs West. There is nothing wrong with your previous format, its your tournament. I'll play whatever the format is regardless ^.^

From a players perspective I would feel somewhat cheated if it went 2-2 and then the match was decided by a 2v2. Its somewhat like saying were going to play soccer and if the match is tied 2-2 at overtime were going to go do a waterballoon toss and the last team with their waterballoon unbroken wins. Just my oppinion ^.^

For this tournament, TeamSix is thinking of staying away from 2v2's. For future tournaments, we will gladly host some 2v2 tournaments, of any style. In this tournament though, if there is a tie, it will be broken by a 1v1.

Yea I think thats a midwestern thing. An aside, East is definitely going to stomp west. Its up to qxc and incontrol to hold out vs the entire east coast (a lot of good players for east in this tourney). Not that east is > west, but east has better players signed up than west for sure.
