Gosucoaching.com is proud to present another spectator event! We will be hosting a showmatch between Artosis, the legendary player gone caster and now again revived as a player. His opponent will be the Canadian TT1. Love him, hate him, he is a tremendous player who has continually made waves in our community as both a controversial player and an extremely strong force to reckon with.
This showmatch promises to be entertaining and fun. We will be streaming this through Lzgamer's stream which can be viewed here:

The time of the showmatch will be this thursday, at 9pm PST. The event will be casted by Lzgamer and myself, iNcontroL.
The match will be a bo5 with the first map being LT and then loser picks from the 1v1 maps minus Desert Oasis / Incineration Zone
UPDATE
The second showmatch will take place on Friday, at 4pm PST and will be casted by the the same two individuals.

The players are Liquid`Nony and EG.Machine in another fantastic PvZ. Both these players have been around each other for a long time and have had amazing PvZ games before. Now with a new setting, this proves to be an exciting match up! Team Liquid's ace gunner vs EG's war machine.
The format is the same as are the stakes. Tune in and be a part of the experience!

This is gonna be awesome. I don't think NonY or Machine are practicing that much so they the playing field will be pretty even!! Can't wait for this event. I hate how beta has to end so soon  . I feel like we all just got into it....

sorry everyone about that, especially the gosucoaching.com guys. i was really looking forward to this match and went to a PC bang during lunch to play it. sadly i couldn't get my mouse working and the speed was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy over what i use, with accel on. i couldn't control anythign, even my drones. ill rematch TT1 asap.

Yeah, IdrA dominated. TT1 still played well, though. I felt like he had moments where he could've gained an advantage, but just needed an extra "something."

Thanks for hosting the showmatch guys, I really enjoyed it. Like a poster above mentioned, I really liked the relaxed/laid-back attitude of the cast as it makes being a spectator much more enjoyable. Hopefully you'll continue to do more of these.

I know I'm outing myself as a terrific newbie here but I hadn't ever heard InControl before. Dude's definitely got the gift of gab! I'll be happy to tune in if he's yakkin'.

Pretty good games. (edit: and good commentary)
One thing I have to say though: the stalker- warp prism play on game 2 was not at all a good idea. That is a terran strategy that works well on lost temple and kulas, but not for protoss.
I don't know why you two (or at least one of you) were saying it was a good strategy.
