If when Leenocks wins this final he will become the 4th most winning SC2 player in terms of earnings. And he did that in less then 2 weeks at the age of 16

Leenock screwed up my picks for his entire run to the finals. AT every stage it was like, okay, yeah, leenock is good, but he isn't going to beat Huk...errr Alive...errr... MVP. It aint happening again. As incredible as I think jjakji is (and I think he CAN take it), I can't pick him over Leenock this time.

This match is pretty interesting. These two have already played a number of times, so I hope that they'll have some special builds prepared for each other (knowing Jjakji, he probably will). Since Jjakji won the last three meetings between the two and has 67% win-rate against Zerg, I'm thinking he'll win 4-3.

Jjakji is a seriously underrated player. I think Leenock is PROBABLY going to take this, let's say, 4-2. But Jjakji is underrated like the risk on american subprime mortgate bonds in 2006.

Which is to say, he's dangerously underrated. catastrophically underrated. Apocalyptically underrated.

Therefore, he has my vote.

Gah typical GSL finals will be a 4-0.

I want jjakji to make a series out fo it. And I know he has the potential. And he has some practice partners with very similar styles to Leenock.

So I think I'm voting jjakji.

I think jjakji is pretty underrated. I think his odds are better than people think. Are they good? maybe not. but they're better than people think

So Leenock just beat MVP.

The best Zerg that Jjakji has ever beaten is Losira, I would say. And that was a bo1. And Jjakji lost to Leenock 0-2 in last Code S, and Leenock is a lot better now.

All signs point to Leenock here.

But Jjakji will put up a good fight.

Leenock's the hot favourite...but JJakji is the Phantom Terran in name and essence. Who knows where his true level lies?

Btw, in Jjakji's TvZ he's beaten Leenock numerous times before. Of course, Leenock is beasting at the moment so I'm definitely voting him. But still, I would definitely not be surprised if the stage overwhelms Leenock more or his beastmode comes to a painfully dramatic end =/

Hope not, I am a Leenock fan. But Jjakji is...unexpected. And that always intrigues me.

If you want to move up a LOT of ranking points in Liquibet, now is a good time to consider voting Jjakji. From reading the thread here, and chatting with people, it seems like Leenock is going to get 80% or more of the vote. However, not many people truly think the odds are 4:1.

Take a chance on Jjakji, and if he wins you'll be up 7 points on 80% of the crowd. If you're trying to make it into the top 10, or top 100, or top 1000 - now's your chance to make a wager on it.

I think Leenock will take this 4-2.

Leenock will take it 4-1. Won't be 4-0 because Jjakji will have some odd build that will catch Leenock off guard.

Off topic, but I'd say San beating Nestea is the greatest upset in GSL history. Not only that no-one believed he would do it, but also in how he did it - in a long macro game, showing great strategy and multitask.

On topic, I think Leenock has to be the favoured player here. Jjakji could pull out a win though, stranger things have happened.

Gah I so badly want to vote for jjakji. But I almost can't justify it.

If I'm wrong and 90% of people vote for him, I'm going to drop to like 400th in liquibets

Can't really say either way. Voting for Leenock, but it's wide open.

I have not voted for Jjakji all season and continue to be wrong, Leenock will take it 4-1 for FXO

They are 3-2 in games so far, leenock taking 2 games in gsl, although that was about 2 months ago. and jjakji winning the 3 most recent, although that was online.

I did some research on this, and here's two interesting facts I would like to share:

At the beginning of November, Jjakji beat Leenock twice. Not much I suppose, but it's worth noting that he is capable of beating him.

With the exception of Bel'Shir Beach, Leenock has pretty good win rates against Zergs on the maps listed. Of note however is that two of the maps are only 1 or 2 wins, so not exactly indicators.

My bet goes to the underdog, but I think the series will be 4-3 Leenock

If you look at Jjakji's history, his latest zerg win was over Leenock in some cup or another, I didn't recognize it, winning against him twice and didnt seem like he lost. So I have to go with Jjakji on this one.

DRG won't save you Jjakji....

Still think Leenock wins it 4-1. Games could still be good though, even with a score like that. Haven't been this excited for a gsl final since......probably MC vs July. Everything after that was just tvt and what I expected to be a Nestea roflstomping (which it was).

Game 1: Jjakji all-ins and wins
Game 2: Leenock makes a simple mistake that costs him the game
Game 3: Jjakji uses a rare build that beats leenock
Game 4: Jjakji plays standerd and leenock beats him with cheese
Game 5: Leenock beats Jjakji straight up
Game 6: Jjakji wins with a all-in

Jjakji 4-2

7 points. I wish I liquibet seriously... Awesome game 6 !! First time I saw such strong terran pushes while being able to defend his base from counter attacks so effectively...
Very casual, Diamond Terran.

Gah typical GSL finals will be a 4-0.

I want jjakji to make a series out fo it. And I know he has the potential. And he has some practice partners with very similar styles to Leenock.

So I think I'm voting jjakji.

I knew it! One of the few believers... unfortunately too much of a wimp to act on it

If I'm wrong and 90% of people vote for him, I'm going to drop to like 400th in liquibets

Lol this is how i feel right now. I actually thought he was favored to win, but i didnt expect the voting to be this skewed. Definitely just got a huge boost on the rankings from that.

Edit: I bet the bookmakers made a killing on this game.

Jjakji is a scrappy punk, and severely underrated.. :D
