It wasn't by 'invite' afaik, it's based on points scored in the GSL's so far. 1.6 point per S-class player, 1 point per A-class player. Liquid just doesn't have enough players 'in' there - YET ![]()

I'm going against the flow and voting for the underdog here. ZeNex has a considerable lineup of decent players, and they should be able to take out a few of the more prestigious teams out there. Now watch as they get eliminated by Slayers first round. ![]()

KT is undefeated and their lineup is basically: Flash, Stats, and stable of scrubs While this is most definitely true with BW, SC2 is still a very new game still in it's infancy stages of development. We regularly see decent players get trashed by lesser ones using unusual or uncommon builds, and the proper BOs for each match-up haven't been fully defined yet. Just look at that 3-roach+ling build that's been floating around TL; the original author claimed to have beaten some decent pros with it, even though he was not necessarily at their caliber. Because of this, even teams with powerful players such as oGs and IM can be knocked out relatively early on if they face/use the wrong strat. We also can't discount the maps that we're going to be seeing; a good number of them have certain "gimmicky" features, such as destructible rocks or smoke screens, that can suddenly swing a game completely around. The new maps will also bring in an unknown factor as well, which certainly wont help. Just look at the last ZOTAC cup - MVP was beaten by Puzzle, MC was taken out by sC, NesTea was killed by aLive. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that it's incredibly hard to predict the winner of the GSTL. Too many unknowns, too many variables, too many uncertainties. Hell, we don't even know half of the players that will most likely be participating. Anything could happen. And in this scenario, I'm rooting for the team with: a) the largest lineup and the most options. b) the team that has players with, I find, a good amount of potential.

No, not even close fOu is probably the worst team, their best player is Choya (lol), who is DQ'd, so the only other notable player they have is the horribly slumping Leenock. And to the people mindlessly auto-voting IM and oGs... NEXPuzzle all-killed both of them in the ZOTAC Invitational (which was just las month) and IM ended dead last at 2-6 (lol) and oGs was only 4-4; ZeNex took second overall behind Startale. Although this is the same format as WL, it's still best of ones, and players play differently in Team Leagues

IM will win this. With both Nestea and Mvp on the team, it's hard to vote against IM. oGs and Prime have a lot of players in GSL S/A class, however, only oGsMC and MKP that I'd consider at the top level, so these two can win it but with the winner leagues format I sill think IM has the edge. STARTALE and ZENEX, I think, are the ones that will have an outiside chance. They cannot be dismissed so easily based on their performance in the ZOTAC team league in which they came in 1st and 2nd respectively. TSL, I think is the most overrated of all (TSLCliiiiiiiiiiide, anyone?). TSLFruitDealer and TSLTrickers are not dominating like they used to during the Beta. And TSLRain is positively in a free-fall now. That said, I think they are still a class above fOU and SlayerS fOU and SlayerS, I think are going to be the punching bag for in any team competition unless they can find more quality players.

After IM I'd have to go with oGs, they have a lot of top-notch players on their team such as MC and Top to name a couple. It'd be interesting to see how this one will turn out. ![]()

Bomber, Puzzle, mvp, NesTea, MKP, and MC are all scary, but most teams don't have the depth, so snipes are likely. I'd say oGs is second strongest.
