Seriously agree. People saying his interview was arrogant and cocky. I don't know, he honestly must have believed his basic mechanics would be solid enough to fend off any non-korean mutalisk play etc.
Generally, yes, Idra's attitude has been bad. But the shitstorm he's faced in this thread is over the top in my opinion.

I really don't understand why some people are so zealous in defending Idra. Sure he's way better than almost any of us at the game we spend so much time playing, but I've never seen anything resembling good manners from him and this series just showcases that. How can you have so much respect for someone that clearly has no respect for anyone else?

This is not idra's first incident about being BM, he is/was always a BM player and in his interwiew he tells "If F91 does not 5 pool or some all-in, i will own him" and he got owned and he failed to deliver more than once, i truly think that some comments are pretty low but he deserved it.

I don't think it's so much about respect for Idra (at least not in my case) as much as it is about not being overly offensive and degrading towards another human being. I know people (yes, I'm talking to you young people) fancy being all "LOL omg u suck" over the internet, while you would never say that to another person face to face.
Thus I feel all this bashing and flaming is really over the top, no matter if a person might have come off as arrogant to you. I'm glad to see F91 take the win, but there's no need to rub things in Idra's face and be a prick about it. You feel Idra behaved badly? So be a grander person yourself and don't sink to his level.
