Now it is deffinately going to collide with Match of the Day 2 . And I was hoping I could combine the two. And I quit ICCUP too early, could have squeezed one more game in.

Nice tech switch by dinot, he caught jf completely off guard right here, jf does not have cannons or archons to deal with mutas, mutas killing tons of probes right here.
Dinot has 4-2 upgraded ultras lol, and JF is attacking to dinot's natural and A DT KILLS 11 DRONES AT 5 NAT WOW BIG ATTACK @ Dinot's nat, Dinot puts a terrific flank right here and kills and they trade armies.

Dinot loses his 2 bases @ 7-8, meanwhile dinot is trying to counter @ jf's 3 base, JF storms the ultras pretty good here and he easily repelled the attack.

Caught the last three games, how the hell was dinot up 3-1? He played horrible in the last three games. First on longinus, he let those zealots run by and then let a probe get the double gas even though he had zerglings right there to see it whiz by. Then on Medusa he meandered when he could've won easily with cannon break. And this last game, he let that zealot up the ramp despite having 6 zerglings and it saw he went lair-den. Some pretty noobish looking mistakes. I guess he choked though I didn't see the first three games.

JF pulled a "rock" twice, going for goon/reaver. It worked quite as well as it does when rock uses it.

and the hydra/lurker were well worth the money for slowing down jf's 3rd SO much, he should've known when to make the switch to lurk/ling/hive faster tho ^ so Dealer is right

It really was a total turn-around. From the start it looked like Dinot was just on another level. JF played really sloppy on Andromeda, apparently his best map and then when he lost on Wuthering to a simple tech switch I thought it was all over. Somehow JF managed to compose himself and bring out the dominant play we all expect. But also Dinot changed his style a little bit; he seemed to lose his strong macro, his game sense got sloppy and he was playing like a man that just wanted the games to end rather than someone who really believed they could win.
Nonetheless, it made for some epic games and combined with the really cool casting an awesome Liquibition. It's a shame the Zerg lost, but we can't get everything we want can we? :p

What..JF got the island way before you wrote it, and was in the middle of warping the mineral only Nexus. If Dinot stopped the mass hydra, JF would have taken the mineral only much earlier and would have rolled him over. Dinot could not win after losing 12 drones like that.
I appreciate your information that upgrades don't win games, but it certainly is a huge deal. 2+ Weapon Protoss verses 0-0-0 Zerg is not pretty. (Dinot did not manage upgrades, he got two evos a couple minutes before JF attacked) There's no way Zerg can win from that position.

I've played about 30 iccup games this year after not playing a single game for 1½ years before that and won 28, losing one to a 5 pool and one fair game, nothing less then A would grant much respect There are still only about 10 foreign protosses that know how to play PvT/PvZ

I probably know more about PvZ then you ever will, i can honestly say and back it up that there was a time when i didnt lose to any protoss in the world, granted the matchup was horribly imbalanced at that time and there are hundreds of other zergs that were in the same seat. If you are unable to understand my words, having one of the best foreign ZvPers back them up should at least give you a hint. I dont deny the result, but in my eyes it was mainly Dinots mistakes that led to it.

What..JF got the island way before you wrote it, and was in the middle of warping the mineral only Nexus. If Dinot stopped the mass hydra, JF would have taken the mineral only much earlier and would have rolled him over. Dinot could not win after losing 12 drones like that.
I appreciate your information that upgrades don't win games, but it certainly is a huge deal. 2+ Weapon Protoss verses 0-0-0 Zerg is not pretty. (Dinot did not manage upgrades, he got two evos a couple minutes before JF attacked) There's no way Zerg can win from that position.
You fail to see that it takes him quite a while to even gain the 20 cannons he put down?
I probably know more about PvZ then you ever will, i can honestly say and back it up that there was a time when i didnt lose to any protoss in the world, granted the matchup was horribly imbalanced at that time and there are hundreds of other zergs that were in the same seat. If you are unable to understand my words, having one of the best foreign ZvPers back them up should at least give you a hint. I dont deny the result, but in my eyes it was mainly Dinots mistakes that led to it.

When you posted that, as I said in my previous post, JF had the island running and was warping the Nexus with +2 coming in. Dinot was massively pressuring with Hydras (with a crippled economy, losing 12 drones) But after JF completed the island the game was basically over, it was only a matter of time. You can't do anything as a three base Zerg when the Protoss third kicks in. Being behind in upgrades doesn't help either.

Dealer is an oldschool gosu... probably knows too just by keeping up with the scene and watching games
and the hydra/lurker were well worth the money for slowing down jf's 3rd SO much, he should've known when to make the switch to lurk/ling/hive faster tho ^ so Dealer is right

After he broke the 3rd for the second time dinot had an advantage and needed to get his 4th/5th online asap and get those upgrades kicking. However, he didn't and the advantage soon flicked back to JF once he got the island online.

Well I guess that's the difference maker then lol. I was refreshing like every 15 seconds, and saw Dealer's post either when island was pretty much done.My mistake in that case.

To repeat a previous post, his island was pretty much nullified during the game due to spending so much to protect it given the amount of probes he had there, when he got his 2nd nat and dinot lacked a queens nest, i agree the game was over.
Upgrades are more or less irrelevant, he lost because he stayed with hydras, you could give his hydras 2-2 and he would still be raped as mass hydras are just...weak?

Well, i dont deny that i might've been slow with the post, cause 30 secs after i tabbed back dinot lost all the contain and the game was over right there.
I didnt watch anything except end of game 6 and 7 but judging from the zergs i used to play pretty much none would've stayed at lair after denying the exp attempt.
Dinots style sure is fun, but i'm quite positive none can argue that its not optimal, there's a reason the dominant korean zergs switched to mainly lurker/ling a long time ago.

I don't know when you wrote it, but when you posted it, JF had 4 bases. Check my posts immediately before yours: JF was pushing out of dinot's contain on his 3rd base, and he was cannoning up the island (he had started the nexus sometime before. I don't remember whether the nexus was complete or just finishing warping in, but JF certainly had that base.)

Yeah, I just went back to read when it was posted, and it was after Dinot attempted that natural break + JF stormed three hydras. I remember it very well. JF's island was already running, and he positioned his army at the warping mineral only base, which is why Dinot attacked the natural. I guess there was some delay between when you started writing it and when it was actually posted.
