woah savior 0-2? i'm not gonna say he's fallen from his throne or whatever, but are people starting to figure him out already? it'd be nice to see what the more experienced/higher tier bw players on tl.net have to say about this. and bisu's an exciting player, it'll be cool if he can keep this up!

like any great player in any game or sport..theres just a time when they go through slumps. savior will come back eventually but it might take him sometime.

sAviOR is losing because his play is really sloppy and his strategies are not good. The game verse Bisu was crap, his early hydra pressure did nothing and he still hasn't learned how to stop corsairs and dark templars. The game verse oov was also disappointing. His strategy was there but his execution was really poor. His defiler and lurker micro was really really sloppy.

Basically vs Bisu it was bad strategy, and oov bad micro mechanics.

sAviOr better get that OSL trophy out of his ass and get back into form for the new seasons. I think he's losing more because he's just not playing as well as he can and not because players have "figured him out".

Savior played like total shit vs iloveoov. He threw in swarms, wasted units, and didn't do any real damage at all. Extremely unsavior like. Watching him lose that way made me cringe, seeing that lurker die for no reason, sending all units to attack, when he could have used swarm a few seconds later to protect them. He played like silver.(Even his zvp he tried early game hydras.)

But man, that guy must really fucking hate dts by now Lol

Favorite game though, was definetly the games on Monty Hall. Jaedong just ripped nada a new one and the the bisu vs nada game was very fun. Scouts/arbiters and last minute desperation!

I really love how July played zvp vs Anytime. He played smart and critical on a relatively hard map for zerg imo. (Jaedong vs Iloveoov was just soooo bad

) Actually, on a second thought, all the games on round 3 sucked ass -_-.

I think this tournament was enlightening, but ironic at the same time. It's been a while since a Protoss player really dominated anyone. It's really been Terran dominating for a long time. The accomplishments of players like Boxer, Nada, and Oov are a testament to that. There are even great potential players that are still yet to make a legend of their name (i.e. Casy and Midas). Once in a while, there has been a Zerg player that has risen, but only temporarily. Yellow was always just really a nuisance to Boxer, July dominated for a while, and followed by Savior. That's simply just it, however. I think that while Savior is the most dominant player right now, he'll eventually fall back as Terran players change their gameplay and figure him out.

The one thing I find ironic is how Protoss won when, while there are some great Protoss players out there, none of them really have what it takes to dominate.

Of course, I don't think we can really put too much faith in these results... some very good players played very poorly, and it could be due to a number of factors. So basically, this isn't the end-all "Protoss owns all" conclusion.

ofc you can't base anything on a tournament with all bo1s. This was really just for fun and money and fame, not to demonstrate serious dominance of one race over another.

That being said, I'm still really happy that oov got his act together and crushed people in TvZ.

sAviOr was advantaged against oov for quite awhile, from when he blocked sunken break to when he stopped and killed oov's first army. But oov's cheating is just too much. three base terran into five base terran... scary.

nada's strategies were pretty odd. game 2 he threw away by letting a tiny p army slaughter his main.

JUST watched Savior's game vs bisu. Very sloppy play by Savior. Bisu was still very solid though. IMO savior is getting really intimidated by Bisu after that MSL. Savior just seems like he's scared of bisu or something O_O. Well, who wouldn't be scared of fighting bruce lee =O.

Man, I was actually getting excited over the past month...Savior was making it look like it was finally time for Zerg to take the throne from those nasty Terran...

But alas, his magic seems to be gone, and us Zerg must again crawl back under the cover of the Swarm and wait for another chance to dominate...

Stupid Protoss...and if I ever see a PvZ inbalance thread again, especially after this ass-whooping, I think I might shoot someone. They sure deserved to win it the way they played...
