I'd have granted Rain with the A+ though, such beastly play. He's still miles ahead of the other Protosses if you ask me. | ||

He did fail to advance but I still think he's very good. Protoss are not in a favored position versus terrans to say the least and it's not only a question of skill. Luck is also important for positionning as even players like Rain can have their observers sniped when they are not as lucky as Rain was this time when his observers were very often barely out of range from the scans. Hurricane has shown before he was able to have a stellar defense vs very good terrans when chance was more on his side. Now I do think Rain is the best player, especially because of the timing he chose to place his canons for drop defense. This was really awesome and not even a blind counter. If anything, I would say protosses like Hurricane need to work on defensive canons and the decision making about whether they need them, and if yes, when and where they need them. | ||
