Although I wouldn't underestimate Hack. He's not a star like the other top 3, but he's a solid player who was just reaching Code S level and has a 63% winrate on HotS ladder.

But it's a long regular season, and I guess it's worth showing some of your bench players that you trust them. NSH is definitely the "safest" match where you can do that kind of thing (short of being 100% locked into a certain rank later in the season).

They lost the two players who continually carried them in Proleague. ProLeague is a typo there, is it? Or am i confusing PL with IPTL?

You wouldn't pick a guy who's undefeated in bo5? and who is winning all the time even against flash ? You should be LG-IM Coach man

Parting would have been really expensive to keep (ESFI World reported that he ended up with a $60,000 salary: http://www.esfiworld.com/parting-joins-skt1-im-confident-in-my-ability-i-will-lead-my-team-to-a-championship/), and who knows what Squirtle wanted, but you have to think that if they could have afforded it they would have kept him. You can argue that if they had overstretched their budget to retain those players and put their finances in jeopardy, it would have been worse for the team overall. In a vacuum where player skill only is involved, sure it sucks to lose those guys, but it's impossible to separate the economic reality of esports from team results.

Go ST, Sound is looking really good!
