There was a Tweet a couple days ago from DRG saying "I want to cry". I don't know what this was about but it sure seems like this affected his game big time :\

So while the odds are never in Seed's favour, IM players have a good record in GSL. I would love to see another Protoss with a title, MC is starting to get too cocky :D MC has always been cocky, I dont need a humble president that cant dance!

And seeing DRG lose like that was tough; he almost looked as torn up as MKP after some of his finals losses to Mvp ![]()

PvP GSL finals. I never thought it would happen. I remember when I first watched him in the GSL, I thought MC was a bit of show-off and a little big headed. He won, but couldn't cheer for him. He just seemed like... kind of a dick. When he played Boxer in the NASL, I cheered for Boxer (well, most would). In the NASL finals, I cheered for "not-MC", aka Puma. But slowly, I became a fan. Maybe I was a bit slow, but I realized he wasn't just a jerk, he was a showman, an entertainer. He was a great player, but not a perfect one. He was someone that I could really cheer for-- it didn't matter if he won or lost, he was always looked like a winner. I feel like in this series, MC using colossi instead of HT may have thrown DRG off a bit. Err, 4-2 MC.

My guess would be that since he wanted to play in his home town so badly that he ended up over-practicing, lost a bunch of games, and then ended up playing MC with a mixture of heavy pressure and inconfidence.
