CoCa's forfeiting of the match didn't advance jjakji to the round of 8 like it suggests -- that was the elimination match and jjakji had to beat GuMiHo to advance. There's a pretty big difference between those two scenarios. Also even if Puzzle wasn't playing his best, I've never seen a protoss get destroyed so hard. Not to mention that his final series vs Leenock was probably the highest caliber finals games we have seen to date. He really did play like a champion that season.

That was basically a free win for anyone who could make it into Code S. NesTea could have probably taken the reins and beating Puzzle as a Terran in that series. TheBestfOu could have probably won that series. I think we're a bit biased now in hindsight with Puzzle being considered one of the best Protosses in Korea, but back then he was just an up-and-comer with a lot of potential. I specifically remember looking forward to that match because I had really high expectations for Puzzle and then not really knowing what I had just watched.

Yeah those finals were a treat to watch, Jjakji was insane! No doubt the Jjakji vs Leenock final is the best finals to be played, but the best TvZ's to be played aswell. Right from the beginning it was like "what is this!" such a baller

FnaticRC aLive The question: Can he overcome his disappointing 4th place finish at Iron Squid, beat the jet lag, and build on his momentum from IPL4? Well, I don't think, alive's performance was disappointing. Actually, he overwhelmed Mma with his marine - tank play in mid to late game.
