03:56 GMT (+00:00): MKP 2 – 1 viOLet, Metropolis non-cross. Prolonged battle with endgame armies, MKP had slightly better army control and positioning in battle, finally won when he hit 3-3 on his marines.

03:39 GMT (+00:00): MKP 1 – 1 viOLet, Cloud Kingdom. ViOLet survived MKP's relentless attacks until he had broodlord infestor, started to make headway into MKP's territory but then lost it all to a nice flank. MKP cleaned him up after that.

03:25 GMT (+00:00): PartinG 2 – 1 HuK, Daybreak. HuK attempted to go for a DT rush with an archon to crush PartinG's forcefield, but PartinG used a pylon wall at his ramp to survive. HuK couldn't handle the colossus follow-up from PartinG and was forced to GG out.

02:52 GMT (+00:00): viOLet 1 – 2 DRG, Shakuras Plateau. viOLet opened up with roaches and expanded quickly, and DongRaeGu attempted to bust it with a surprise speedling timing. However, viOLet was able to hold, and DRG was never able to overcome the early disadvantage.

02:50 GMT (+00:00): Ganzi 3 – 0 MC, Metropolis. MC went for 5 gate pressure, Ganzi held it off while he killed all the probes at MC's natural with a counter force.

Group Stage

• Game One: Cloud Kingdom. After some two-base build-up on both sides, Heart was able to take a big supply advantage after engaging MC's colossus based army in a good position with his infantry and viking composition. Heart build up some more after securing his third and attacked again, and MC wasn't able to hold, despite having switched to templar tech.
  
  
• Game Two: Metropolis. Pretty clear cut: Heart went for a 1/1/1, MC stopped it.
  
  
• Game Three: Entombed Valley. Heart hit a two-rax, shield marine timing against MC's fast expand, and ended up doing a lot of damage without ending the game. Heart just played out his advantage normally, and was able to receive the GG from MC after a few minutes.

• Game One: Daybreak. Huk took a fast third while trying a sentry drop, couldn't do any damage and DRG ran him over with roaches followed by a switch into muta-ling.
  
  
• Game Two: Antiga. Huk opened with a void ray and 9 gates. His first attack failed and he expanded behind, DRG killed him with burrowed moving roaches while Grubby hummed the Jaws theme.
  
  
• Game Three: Tal'Darim cross. DRG took a third at the normal spot for a fourth, Huk killed it with a 7 gate attack.
  
  
• DRG 2 - 1 Huk

• Game One: Entombed Valley: MKP kept the pressure up with banshees, then hellion drops, and then marine drops against Ganzi's fast expansion build. Ganzi defended fairly well for a while, but went for a counter-drop too early, and took a game ending amount of damage from MKP's marine drop.
  
  
• Game Two: Cloud Kingdom. MKP opened with an infantry based one-base build, while Ganzi went for a 1/1/1. Neither player was able to hurt the other seriously, and they withdrew to expand and play a standard game. Ganzi got the better of MKP in a few key marine-tank engagements, getting a big enough army advantage to win the game.
  
  
• Game Three: Metropolis. After MKP's proxy-marauder opening, the game advanced to a two-base state. MKP was able to finish his stim upgrade far before Ganzi, and used that advantage to hit with a marine-tank-medivac push that ended the game.
  
  
• MKP 2 - 1 Ganzi

• Game One: Entombed non-cross. Went for cloaked banshee first 1-1-1. Heart killed a lot of sentries in a skirmish mid-map and won an extended battle at PartinG's natural.
  
  
• Game Two: Metropolis non-cross. PartinG opened 3 gate robo, and Heart 2rax. Their armies missed each other midmap and turned into a base trade. Heart lost his army, went to 0 supply, then won because he had 2 orbitals and all PartinG had was an army.
  
  
• Game Three: Cloud Kingdom. PartinG opened with 1 base colossus all-in, switched to immortal all-in after a scan. Heart saw it with SCV scout and held.
  
  
• Heart 3 - 0 PartinG

• Game One: Daybreak. DRG took the map and got to broodlords, but lost when they all died and he remaxed on roaches for some reason.
  
  
• Game Two: Cloud Kingdom. DRG got to brood lords after constant mid-game harass but couldn't do enough damage with them and MC's huge stalker-immortal army rolled him over.
  
  
• Game Three: Metropolis non-cross. MC went for a sentry drop and elevator after getting 1 colossus, killed DRG's main easily and forced him to GG.
  
  
• MC 3 - 0 DRG

• Game One: Cloud Kingdom. Got to 3 base vs 3 base, crucial moment came when Huk's colossus didn't move back with his army and he lost them for nothing. Ganzi killed the third and won.
  
  
• Game Two: Antiga Shipyard. Huk pressured with 3 gates before expanding, killed Ganzi's nat. Ganzi went for allin after stim and couldn't break him.
  
  
• Game Three: Entombed Valley non-cross. Huk 6-gated and did a lot of damage, Ganzi's attempts at counter-aggression weren't enough.
  
  
• Huk 2 - 1 Ganzi

• Game One: PartinG went for 1 base colossus, didn't hold his ramp against first batch of marines and couldn't do enough damage when his first colossus finally popped.
  
  
• Game Two: Non-cross Metropolis. Cloaked banshee variant of 1-1-1, first banshee killed a lot of probes and PartinG couldn't stop the push.
  
  
• Game Three: Cloud Kingdom. PartinG went for 1 base 2 immortal push, killed MKP.
  
  
• MKP 2 - 1 PartinG

• Game One: Metropolis. viOLetgot to infestor broodlord and Heart couldn't stop it.
  
  
• Game Two: Antiga Shipyard. Heart couldn't do enough damage with drops midgame, viOLet got to broodlords unhindered and won easily.
