it's a little unfair to talk to Gom poorly about their ro16 condensation when they purposely MADE IT THIS WAY FOR FOREIGNERS because foreigners complained about having to stay in korea for an entire month just to see if they can even qualify for up/downs. So this was done so foreigners could more quickly discover if they can just go home, or if they need to stick around for the up/downs.
I now have autographs of both BoxeR and NaDa. I can die happy. Lim Yo Hwan and Lee Yun Yeol FIGHTING forever!

I said the same things about MC after his loss to Alicia. There were a lot of people who questioned MC after he lost, convincingly lost, to Alicia. They were drowned out by the screaming pitch of fanboys and forgotten.

Don't write off what he said, it was dead on accurate. If Monster could beat him.. Almost every other Zerg player in the GSL is at equal or better skill. What does that say about MC?

Well what does it say about the people that MC beat after the super tournament and placed higher than as well? After the super tournament, some notable wins would be against HuK in GSL, placing better than zenio, alive, and july at NASL, and placing better than HuK and Killer at IEM cologne. All of which I named are still code S.

Nice read, as always. I only disagree with sC 2-0 Leenock, I think Leenock will take it 2-1

I disagree with you completely because sC's facing Gumiho and not Leenock.

I don't know why Wolf seems to think he's to judge who should be in Code A. He's not a Top Protoss player at all and MC knows way more than he does and probably ever will.

Wold also thinks that none of the patch 1.4 changes should have happened and that the 1-1-1 was just terrans punishing toss players for being greedy. It was all the protoss's fault for losing to they were playing badly for trying to expand the build was supposed to go away as soon as protoss stop doing that.

Uhm, he's giving his opinion... By that standard no one on TL would be able to say anythin about anything when it comes to players of MC's standard.

Didn't you read the summary at the end?

MC is a smart player, but I disliked him even in March. I always felt like he won off N gate timings every game, and lost whenever he tried to do something else.

I feel bad for him now, he's a cool guy and I am a fan of his personality, but his play isn't solid like Nestea's or MVP's, and it's never been on their level.

All MC needs is a MLG showing and top 3, then he can go back to owning nerd ballerz like usual.

Well regardless of how you felt, that's complete bullshit. He beat July and other players convincingly in MACRO games as well. He has been since then as well. Criticize MC for doing some gateway timings...how many allins and bunker rushes has MVP done in his recent GSL games? Oh yeah but that's fine and solid play because terran allins DON'T SUCK. MC has innovated and popularized nearly every protoss build and style for a year and has 11 top 3 placements in major tournaments, 2 being GSL wins...and he's never won a game that's not a gateway timing? Just shut your mouth.

Wow Probe1, your code A recap is the best GSL recap I ever read !
It was awesome, and showed how good the games have been this week. I think I've seen more good protoss play in 4 days of code A than in 4 months of every tournament combined.
I don't know if it's the side effect of the patch, or of OGN broadcasting sc2 with sick games despite what I had anticipated (I was in fear that WCG would have terrible games like we had still 2 weeks ago), but currently everywhere I look I see fantastic games.
You did an excellent job to show that, and I 100% agree with your games analysis.
With this GSTL and code A week, someone could make an excellent mini pimpest protoss play. So many clutch moments.

Wow, I think Wolf exaggerating by stating "MC is not ready for Code A". Apparently he`s struggling and not a top player as of now, but he would have good chances in Code A.
Of Course it will not be easy, the qualifiers are so unforgiving (see Bomber, DRG), so I hope he can pull through.

not ready for code A = IEM 2nd Place? His list of accomplishments after next month will be huge.... mark my words. Everyone keeps saying his play has gotten figured out etc etc.... I remember he was the first protoss to hold the losira roach ling all in back in the day and his pheonix builds against both Terran and Zergs is just a beauty to watch. Still, I guess everyone forgot that this is the same guy who pretty much never lost to a foreigner in lan and has lost to top Koreans only..(yes monster is really good actually). All the MC doubters just wait He has slumped GSL wise, but with the patch and a new drive, he is going to dominate in many of his upcoming tournaments. <3 Mc fighting!

I was the one of the less than 400 who voted Monster over MC i saw it coming

I Figured all that time away he spent at foreigner tournaments would of made him play less Korean 'like'

and It worked
