TL Attack with qxc!

When we said TLA was back, we meant it. Every second week you will have yourself a brand new TLA to drool over, and this coming Saturday marks 2 weeks since our first episode with TLAF-Liquid`Tyler. That means it's time for some more TL:A action! This episode we delve right into the imba and have managed to snag North American super-Terran  qxc for the show.
qx... who? - that's what many people thought when qxc stormed into the scene by toppling Nony in one of his very first tournaments. Since then he has made a name for himself as one of the very best Terrans during the beta. In particular he was invited to the Razer King of the Beta tournament where he surprised the world yet again by making the Top 4 and finishing first in his group ahead of the likes of IntoTheRainbow, Dimaga and White-Ra. He is a member of root gaming, arguably the best SC2 clan on the North American server.

qxc isn't getting on the show just because he's one of the best, he's shown that he's willing to experiment around as well. He developed one of the very first build order testers to try various things out. But more recently, he's been working on a sick ghost-hellion TvZ build - which he's used against the likes of Machine (replay). He tends to get quite abusive with Medivacs in TvP, and plays a solid safe style there - but that doesn't mean he can't get all up and cheesy. Check out this game against KiWiKaKi to get a glimpse into how good his TvP is.
Of course, joining our guest will be BiggerT Chill and EG.incontrol who will give their insightful opinion on the slaughter going on in the game. If you enjoyed their commentary last week, then you're sure to love it again this week as our guest will have a working microphone! And that can only mean amazing things for the cast. Further, this week we have worked out how to reintroduce the highly requested Team Melee match back into TL:A!
So how can you get involved? As always you can sign up in this thread for your chance to play qxc in front of thousands of viewers. But don't forget that you can ask qxc any questions you like in this thread - be it about life, love, or not being invited to IEM.
Don't forget, TeamLiquid: Attack! will be broadcast live on Saturday, Aug 21 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00). And don't worry, the matches from IEM will not conflict with TL:A - so you can watch the IEM streams, then enjoy watching qxc beat up some noobs! this sounds fun, I met Incontrol and Qxc at the greenforest lan. I was impressed with how nice and cool those guys were! Both really nice and polite, fun to be around and funny. Looking forward to this, QXC Fighting!

Oh man, I'm super pumped for this! I'm happy to see that, as always, Team Liquid is keeping their promises to deliver by keeping the TL:A! steadily rolling out every two weeks. Plus, the combination of QXC playing and Chill and incontrol commentating will surely be awesome. Well, I now have plans for August 21!

My only request for qxc is please don't care about winning or losing. We know you are an amazing player. Just go all out and do something insane. If you succeed we will cheer your name for months if you don't, meh, you got caught off guard doing a very strange build: who cares?
I think one of the problems with TL attack with Nony was that although he's one of my favorite players, I just couldn't get into his TLA because he seemed sooooo worried about losing.. It almost became 'watch Nony play newer level players while doing his standard builds!'. That's no fun!

TLA!!! Super stoked! Qxc has been a major force since star2 got competitive and I expect great things from him.
The only problem is that Star2's competitive scene includes folks who should not be allowed to play the game seriously.
I really want TL to be a legit source of events. I am starting to get more excited for Sc2. As soon as I see all of the TSL abusers banned from real events I will be actually into star2 events. Until I see no cheaters in broadly covered events I cannot take the game seriously competitively.
I know this doesn't include anybody stupid (TL is far smarter than that), but as long as the star2 community engages the bastards/cheaters it is not a game that can possibly excite me. It's like we are having Savior's post-scandal reputation before he bonjwa'd without any integrity developed by the sport itself.
This may seem like goofy bullshit that has nothing to do with this event. That's true. I will be excited and enthusiastic to watch TLA if possible (watching VODS as soon as they are available if I cannot see them live), but while I watch some star2, it is not a real esport. I will watch it because of the intriguing reputation of TLA (Read: humor factor). I would vastly prefer bw. Star2 is a bullshit game as long as cheaters exist in it.
Please keep it real TL: Ban any TSL cheater from any TL frontpage featured event. Don't cover any event carrying a TSL abuser. Do not let your players play in events that allow TSL cheaters. The point here is that TL carries a great deal of legitimacy with it. and it has a great deal of influence. If TL doesn't deal with anyone who deals with TSL cheaters (forever, they can't exist if it's to be competitive), then SC2 will not be able to gain legitimacy. If not, I can't give a shit about it.
I like qxc. I want to watch him rock noobies. I cannot trust an event as a TL thing until I see no more TSL cheaters in any TL covered events.

I think it does, but you don't get seperate supply like you did in BW... also, you have a total of 12 seconds with it, so you really need to warp in a nexus with it... :D
