Don't you wish that every player was like TLO and did crazy stuff that looked amazing and wow'd the socks off of you? Don't you wish the commentators had a little more personality and were stupidly funny?
We did. So we started TeamLiquid: Attack!
TL: Attack! is the show where we get a top tier pro and then let you go at him with everything you've got. Our valiant guest will try to defeat you, while being distracted by our commentators and doing something crazy like pure sentry. If you are lucky enough to get a game, your game will be streamed live to thousands of viewers while we comment on it with our pro. This is all in good fun, so we encourage trash talk via the stream, and we will be definitely giving our pro some less than encouraging words if he does happen to make a mistake and lose. In this vein, we also encourage top players to discretely contact us to smurf and embarass our pro on a live stream. We've done two seasons in SC:BW which you can find here and here and they were both incredibly entertaining.
This season we have two incredible casters lined up: Chill and EG.Incontrol! With the possibility of alcohol in mass quantities being consumed before the event, this is surely an event you will not want to miss!
Episode 1: TLAF-Liquid`Tyler To start things off, we've invited the reigning TSL Champion and Liquid` badass Tyler (aka Nony) to destroy some noobs. Tyler is known for his incredibly abusive phoenix play which earned him a seed into the next HDH Invitational. Additionally, he is a TL:A veteran having played in the very first season. To give you an idea about what do expect, when asked to give a prediction on how the games were going to go he simply said:
"I think he's just going to lose. There's only so many ways you can lose. And he's going to make some kind of units. And I'm going to attack him, and then all his stuff is going to die. That's about the best prediction I can give." --Tyler

Perhaps you'd prefer just to sit back and rofl at the stream, in the case, maybe you have a question that you want our commentators to ask Tyler. If you have any questions feel free to post them up in this thread and we'll go over the thread before the stream starts and write them all down in case we get bored.
All the games will be uploaded to our Youtube account as soon as humanly possible after the event is held, so why don't you subscribe to it ahead of time?.

i wonder how big the skill gap will really be. i mean, people have only been playing the game for 3 months, there's not way nony is any close to as good as he was at BW compared to the average TLer as is he at SC2 compared to the average TLer. I wonder how much he can get away with in SC2.

Oh my, this, this is going to be freaking awesome. I can only hope the victims prove as entertaining as I am imagining this to be. Nony is going to wreck some folks and I can't wait to see it!

he played in season 1 and season 2 after he first joined liquid and was going to korea. Not that i mind because he has a much more entertaining personality than most of the other people who have done TLA.

I recently went back and watched all of the old TLA's they were all so awesome! I hope the new season is just as awesome, and the players do lots of stupid shit!
can nony be affected by substances, collectively called alcohol (to make it pg-13, but you can make it rated R in your head) and perhaps mothership rush?
Seeing as there are no chat channels, perhaps TL are planning to provide Nony with 3 smurf accounts, so that he can take challenges from every server. Makes sense to optimize who can participate
This is going to be awesome. Chill with Inc will be great. I really loved the 1st 2 seasons, my fav episode was with mondi. When he guessed that he was playing against nony by gateway placement. These older events (TL:A, Liquibition) are still the best. And I hope it will be streamed with good old TL stream, not some livestream...

I have a question. Will there ever be any type tourny organized for the EU server? Just once? lol OT: Pretty cool. Haven't seen the pervious TL:A because this is the first time I have heard of this. Pretty good concept.

I rewatched the old VODs and from a viewers perspective this is way better because we aren't wasting 5-15 minutes per game.

There are plenty of tournament organized for EU chances are we'll have a TL:A on EU soon enough
TL:A is by far my favourite TL event! It's great to see highly skilled players just have fun with the game. Add eager fans/gamers and hilarious commentary and you have a winner.
Sweet, can't wait for the weekend. Pretty strange how time passes slowly when you don't have to go to college, or work (just because I can't play SCII of course).

This a hilarious combination of misunderstandings, where the first person is talking about a SOUTH EAST ASIA TL: attack as apposed to a TL:A on the US servers. Followed by someone thinking they meant our friendly neighborhood Yum Bo Sung. Then followed by Chill correction this persons incorrect refernce, which was based on a 'incorrect' reply to the first post. Comedy for all!

Team liquid attack gave me a great idea for another funny show. The Bronze league attacks, where two Bronze league noobs play a game casted by pro casters like day9, JP, DJ Wheat, Chill, HD...it might not sound all that interesting but I have a feeling it could be great
